Lin made a poor decision to step on that court.

Yeah, I respect Lin for trying to play but it was obvious he was out there with one arm and unable to contribute, McHale should have made the call to take him out early as players are gonna have too much pride to take themselves out in that situation.

And yeah, I agree it wasn't dirty..."a little cheap" would be accurate but not dirty.

It's a dirty move because Durant knows that Lin has a chest contusion, so pulling down on his arm is going to send a shooting pain straight to his chest. Basic anatomy.

He did it blatantly to send a message, but it's not something Durant would normally do. Sucks to see him go there, but if he was on our team, that would be called passion our some other excuse

Basically most of the 'Superstars' nowadays are spoilt brats that think they can do everything they want and if any call went against them they grumble like a child.

Sadly, the league is getting lesser and lesser likable dudes or true superstars.

Why would they have to be likeable? Their job is to win championship, not to be likeable.

It was not dirty, this is the playoffs, Lin is a p***y and it's time for our guys to man up. Sure he stared at the bench, but obviously he can because nobody retaliated. He is showing us up and I'm very disappointed that ever since 1994-95 we haven't had a team with guts and ready to take it to the other team. Only the 2009 team was sort of tough.

Probably addressed but the timeout before negates the foul after.

The same can be said for Beverley who went 3-10. He should've been the last guy out there chucking up 10 shots.

A guy who can barely lift his arm to cheer for his team and needs to wear his mouth guard on the bench to bite down on for the pain but still tries to play is a p***y? A team that was assembled a few days before the season started and is the youngest in the NBA makes it to the playoffs nearly beats the best team in the West twice has no guts and isn't ready to take it to the other team? Sheesh, some "clutchfans" obviously aren't fans.

Someone already corrected you on Lin actually shooting 44% for the season. I just want to point out the amazing Beverley's 41.8% FG avg. much closer to 40% and being horrible. And to break it down even more, against the Western Conference teams, Lin actually stepped it up and shot 44.6% while Beverley shot 38.3%. The majority of his good games came against weaker teams in the East and many of them against second squad backup point guards. Lastly, Lin shot 45.5% after the All Star break.

Maybe the reason it seems like he misses more shots is because people rant and rave about his shooting without looking at the stats and when you hear it over and over again, people start to believe it.
