Well OKC definitely prepped for Bev this time. They came up with the perfect Beverley stopper. Joey Crawford.
Elephant.... meet room. Where are all the superbev believers today? I believe OKCs backup PG out played him.
If Beverley hadn't got into early foul trouble, the outcome of this game would be different. Just sayin.
Joey Crawford didn't stop Beverley. Beverley stopped himself with his boneheaded 5 fouls in just 6 minutes of play. Were the refs calling it tight? Yes. But Beverley should have been smart enough to adjust his game accordingly. And his last 2 fouls were so egregious that they would have been called by any ref in any game. I love Bev's game, but the guy is inexperienced and like the rest of the team still has a lot to learn
Oh my bad...and here I thought hacking away at players and not getting into foul trouble was part of playing ball. My bad, what the hell was I thinking? We wont mention shooting 0 percent from 3. Shooting 30 percent from the field. Taking as many shots per minhte played as Harden and having as many fouls as he did assists, rebounds and steals. Lol...yet if Lin has this kind of game.....waaahhhhhhh.
Right here man -- and I think Beverley played great when he was on the court last night. He was a huge part of the comeback, and a lot of the fouls called on him were completely bogus. If the officiating had not been so Joey Crawfordy in the first half Beverley would have played great for more minutes, but that does not diminish how well he played when he was on the court. I honestly think that game one next season you will see Harden and Beverley in the backcourt starting, and that the team will be much more effective like that.
Yeah, yeah he's foul prone, but if you noticed when he wasn't on the court for a bit the team damn near fell apart. You wasted your time looking up a bunch negative stats. What you fail to understand is when Beverley is on the floor the game just flows better. The team seems to have more control. Beverley has completely changed the dynamic of this team. Much more than what i thought. I just thought he would do the Westbrook thing and that would be it. As you saw last night his absence was felt.
Basketball is a niche sport in Russia, that takes a big backseat to hockey and football. He played in a team that is of mid importance there in terms of their basketball league. The basketball league in Russia isn't considered that important at all in Russian sports. He was not one of the most famous players in the Russian League - not by a country mile. His media exposure in Russia was not that big. Saint Petersburg isn't that much of a basketball city either. He's obviously fibbing with those comments.
You've really got tunnel vision. In Game 2, the Rockets were playing well until Lin went to the bench. With Beverley, we fell apart and got way behind. I've said it before, Beverley is a high energy guy that's basically not able to hit shots and gambles so much to make steals that he gets burned on D just as much.
Doesn't matter. Does the team have fans??? How do they feel? Here, let me help you out. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/_MGY7ErzL4Y" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm not arguing over this. Beverley was hardly known at all in Russia. That's the truth for anyone that wants to know it.
