Here was Jeremy Lin talking to reporters after the game, a 104-101 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 on 4/27/2013.

Hopefully he can come back and contribute something to Game 4. Guy sounds kind of defeated and kind of reminisce of Yao. Guessing it's hard to have to watch your team on the bench.

    The long answer:
Jeremy Lin is a starter and key part of the offense, yet he was injured and couldn't play much or play effectively when he was in, so it's sort of important to talk to him.

    The short answer:
    Because he's Jeremy Lin.

More interestingly...why are you watching his interview if he is not even in the game much?

Thanks for stopping by to let us know that the world revolves around your interests. I consider that next time I want to waste my time watching something exclusive Clutch posts up.

So, in other words, he's saying it would be a miracle. OK then.

sorry, I did not watch the interview for that exact reason, but I sure think he is not even involved enough to feel the game, much less an interview

Not every thought should be put up. This board is already cluttered with bitter and cynical people. Why don't you try and not be one of those people. He's Jeremy Lin. He's hurt and questionable for playing the next game. Reporters want to know what's up with him and his feelings towards the game. Nothing wrong with the interview.

Just win a damn game. The team needs to come out ready to play but we have seen all season where they start the game slow and have to come back in the second half to get the W.

Its not about pessimism, the two teams that have come back from 1-3...NOT 0-3 were the 95' Rockets and the 04' Pistons. The rockets were the defending champs and would win again that year and the pistons were the #1 seed playing Mcgrady & Scrubs. Today was the nail in the coffin.

Maybe God will care enough to bless one sport team over another sport team.

My favorite 3-word term to describe Jeremy's rise is "Against All Odds".

I hope the same will happen to the Rockets too - Against All Odds.

Hopefully we can win one game at a time.

Clutch short answer says it all. Anyways, his performance was as i expected. It was thrilling ending at the end of game 3. I was really expecting we will win it. Funny thing, i dont even care who was on the floor, just win it! And i become a Rockets fan because of JLin. The Garcia 3 was wow, Harden's drives were amazing. Them pumping up the crowd. Fun, thrilling Loss.

It happened in baseball so its not absurd to wish it might happen in basketball too
