I'm curious, but what are these mannerisms that the all the blacks do, and only the blacks, that these Asians are trying to mimic? And please list all the different ethnic based mannerisms of each group. Really interested in that one.

 

I thought it was horrible. I believe the guy deserves to face the consequences for his poor choice. It seems like he has. When I saw the apology tweet, I was happy, felt like maybe he already learned and I was ready to move on and chalk it up to his youthful passion.

Then when he came back and tried to deny responsibility, I hope that the consequences are worse than they were before. There's no excuse for what he did, and if he somehow is now trying to not take responsibility for it, then I have nothing positive to say for the kid.

But hey, these Asian Americans were never involved in the slave trade, slavery, kkk, segregation etc. except maybe a little bit as victims. They're just naive in that way, and if they like hip-hop very much, they'd imitate, what's wrong with that? No need to get so defensive right? African Americans needed strong identity to distinguish themselves from the racists whites but Asians don't necessary have to. Ain't easy to be Asian Americans. There is Asian culture, white American culture, black American culture but no Asian American culture, nothing that they do would be authentic and not awkward. It'd be tough for them to develop it since there are so few and they are so diverse. But hey, melting pot right?
