    He definitely has some Lowry in him. He'll eventually need to expand his game like Lowry to get a fat 2nd contract. But his floor is at least a solid/above-average PG.

    And I could care less if people thinks he's dirty. It's about time we have someone on this team with some nastiness in him. It's not like choir boys get extra credit in the NBA or something.

    Great article. No need to apologize. I hope he keeps playing the way he has been playing. Lin is the better point guard. But having Beverley as the backup point guard or even sometimes starting along Lin is a luxury.

    Was more getting at the injury cycle of the backup taking over the starter. I like Lin, but people have to remember hes young/inexperienced, inconsistency comes with it, but hes shown flashes of being a very good PG. If he doesnt improve anymore, hes average, and fits the contract. Hes a much better player then he was in NYK, hes just had to adjust. With that said I have complete confidence in Beverley on the floor. Hes tough, fights, i think offensively he's a bit underrated, doesnt have the vision of Lin, but hes a very solid player, and we all know about his defensive intensity. Lin is the better player though. Glad to have them both.

    I love Beverley. I just hope his game does not change considerably if he gets starter minutes like Lowry's did. I would think it would be hard to keep up that defensive intensity for 36 minutes.
