With WB out and TD & TP rounding into form, yes indeed.

Worst home playoff loss in Lakers history. (31 points)

They can claim some kind of history in the process. :p

    Splitter - ankle sprain. I'd guess he'd be out.(-Pop)

    MDA:
-First half, gave everything we had and obviously wasn't enough.
-Ran out of gas towards the end. For 30 minutes, they played but it wasn't enough.
-They gave everything they had. Metta getting drained so he can play. He couldn't play the 2nd half. Times are tough right now.
-Not smooth. No one is happy. I don't fault the effort or will.
-We'll try to get some energy Sunday and hopefully it will work out better.

Gasol: Hard to determine(how much fight is left). Guess we'll see Sunday how much fight we have in us. I'd like to see the team bounce back and regroup and come back with a positive mindset and just compete, whatever we have left, leave it on the floor. Play as a team, as a unit, no matter what we go through. ... We've been murdered by injuries. It's tough to overcome. Too many key players out. We'll see how much fight we have Sunday. It will take effort. It's not easy but it's what we have to do.

Broussard towards the end of the game:

Dwight is the biggest question mark. Lakers feel like you're crazy if you leave LA, especially since they can pay him 30 million more. Houston would seem to be the biggest competitor. Questions also with Gasol. Do they trade him? His value would be high but he can also help LA. You have amnesty issues. Amnesty MWP? No indication, but financially amnestying Kobe might be wise, saving 80 million. A lot for LA to do.

    Hoopsworld {attempting to} break{ing} down salary.

Duncan is just amazing. He looks like he's 27, not 37.

Mike D'antoni is one of the worst coaches in the league.

There's not much you can do when your starting backcourt is Goudelock / Morris, and Dwight / Gasol probably aren't 100%.

To top it all off, you're coaching against the 4-headed monster of Pop/Gino/Parker/Duncan who have the ultimate chemistry.

What's the odds that the next game will be his final game as an NBA coach?

    Dwight Howard:

They did what they had to do. Gotta come back and be physical with them. That's what we have to do next game. Next game we need to do a good job and not let them get good looks.

I don't know what I need to do, I'm out there being physical.

We were running some plays. They made it tough for our guards to make post entry passes. That's something we have to get better at.

Tough year but we won't make any excuses or hold our heads down. We're not gonna quit.

These guys gotta learn on the fly but Darius and Andrew played real good tonight. Hopefully they can keep that going and we can get a win.

We just been playing hard as a team. More energy. Guys are getting in better shape. That's why we had a better 2nd half.

I don't think we allowed them 61% (shooting). It seemed they didn't miss tonight. We gotta come back next game and play harder. Give them credit, they played the right way and won.

Anybody got some better questions? (Someone asked with Tiago Splitter going down, will that allow you and Pau to dominate inside, more than you previously have in the series).

    LOL HAHAHA

I watched him destroy the Knicks last year and I just witnessed him stand at the helm of one of the most epic collapses in NBA history. Not to mention he ran Kobe into the ground. I'd say he's pretty damn bad.

Thankfully, Lakers have already implied he's coming back. Doesn't matter since they won't be contenders anyway. It will be interesting to note who's on D'Antoni's staff next season to see who would take over if the can him mid-year.

I could possibly see Lin going to the Lakers next season if D'antoni remains as head coach. He seems to play well in D'antoni's system and Nash doesn't look like he has much left in him health-wise.

The Rockets have him under contract for 2 more years. I don't think you'll be seeing him in LA.
