I've been looking for a good burger joint in Houston, but just cant find a spot. I also tried yelping and reading some articles but they all have conflicting reviews. Some people call some places the best burger in Houston, yet others say "Bland and overrated". So i figured to ask you guys. What do you guys think?
Honestly, I'd say Fuddruckers. Been to all the food trucks, fancy restaurants, and Houston Chron recommended places. Not impressed.
been discussed at length here, and I'm sure in some other threads as well http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=171806&page=14
Christian's Tailgate and Bubbas Burger Shack are my favorite in Houston, and probably the country. I hear Lankford is very good too. I just haven't been able to try it yet. I do like little Bigs, but they're sliders not real burgers. Plus, unless they've changed it recently, they're heavily seasoned, which isn't what I consider quality. Hubcap sucks. They do BS like 'peanut butter burger' and 'cheeto burger'. The actual burger itself is weak at best. You're better off getting a burger from McDonalds and putting whatever crap you have in your pantry on it. Five guys and all those other chains suck. Only chain burger worth while is Fudruckers.
some good places on this list for those on the nw side http://issuu.com/burge/docs/thelist-feb?mode=a_p
I don't eat burgers much, but I tried this place in Sugar Land tonight called Guru Burger and Crepes. It was probably the best burger I've eaten.
