I think it very obvious that the vast majority of the fans here hate to see that happen and are not celebrating the injury. We know EXACTLY how it feels.:(

I mentioned it earlier.....over 47,000 members....you are gonna have some douchebags in that bunch....don't assume that their classlessness is indicative of the average Rockets fan.

Poor Beverly.....he's going to be CRUCIFIED in the media. He was making a basketball play but now he will probably be labeled as dirty which is not fair....oh well

I'm honestly glad that the experts are not calling this dirty or anything like that. In a playoff game with the score the way it was you want your players to go all out and attack 24/7 and Beverly was doing that.

He could have easily faked a TO and gone to the hoop and then what? It's unfortunate that he got injured as a result but that could have been any other heated moment in the game such as a loose ball scramble, etc.

It's the playoffs if you don't go all out every second until the whistle is blown then you need to ride the pine.

Ya i think only oblivious OKC fans that are blinded by rage are going to be calling him dirty. everyone with half a brain that watches basketball even occasionally knows that the play wasn't dirty.

    FIXED.

Not saying you're saying anything bad, but... did you notice how Beverly even tried to help him up and even apologize?!?!? Not you, exactly, but... the MEDIA should pick up on that. :(

yep, no one should wish that a player on the other team should get hurt. On the other hand. Kendrick Perkins needs to not be an *******. Who the hell TAUNTS A CITY'S FANS? WHILE going to the city to play?!?

I feel bad for Beverly more than Westbrook, hopefully he won't get the Kermit Washington stamp. Hope Westbrook comes back and is the same player he was. As for this series, I think its wide open. I won't ever cheer an injury, I'll just say Red Nation...

People for the most part know he didn't intentionally hurt him. It sucked but it wasn't intentional.

It sucks because you don't want to see something like this happen to anyone. But, all the ignorant people out there calling out Beverly for a cheap play are really annoying me. I wish someone out there would put together some clips of Westbrook doing the same thing to people calling timeouts, because I'm fairly certain I have seem him doing it before.

I blame Barkley for saying it was dirty. If they all agreed it wasn't dirty OKC fans could not say anything. They are blinded by rage and Barkley is blinded by his hate for the Rockets organization.

No, he wont, he did not play dirty at all, even OKC fans say so. He just plays tough with full of energy.

The media probably wont show that because that only show WB is not a classy player.

Forgive OKC Fans... they're not the most knowledgeable fans when it comes to NBA basketball. They've only had a team for 5 years.

Poor Russ. He is a warrior. Hate to see a guy injured on a cheap play.

It's Westbrook's own fault. It's all on him to to tell their trainer how his knee really felt.

He continued on for the rest of the game. That suggests he worsened it to the point of surgery. What could have been a couple of days or just a week out is now possibly for the rest of the playoffs.

Playing aggressive is one thing, but that play should have been at least a foul. Understanding that sometimes a player would fake a timeout, but Beverely pretty much did a soccer move and took out Westbrook.

And for those who actually cheer about this, geez... And Karma? This is not Karma. If Westbrook came down wrong on a jump shot, fine, but this?

I don't think it's right for other team's players knock one of Rockets down, and I don't think this is right either.
