Cody and Mitchell didn't play in 4 man fronts/nickel and dime packages, did they? Maybe a stud DT/NT wouldn't be limited to the 3-4.

I really think that the Texans could use a 2nd round pick on a guy like David Amerson...that kid is a natural ball hawk...and a year under the wings of a Ed Reed, could be amazing and would instantly make him a dang good value pick in the 2nd round...

We can get LB and then an OLinemen in the 3rd

    Get a DE/OLB in the 4th

Get a WR in the 5th

Get a RB and Lineman in the 6th

and close out with another TE in the 7th...

Dont really know which prospects will be available later...but im excited about our 2nd round pick as well...so many value pick available...and definitely wont go wrong if we just pick the best available as well...

Watson, Amerson, Minter, J. Williams, Cyprien, Hunt, Ertz, Brown would all be huge steals late in the second

Or they could really solidify the receiving unit. Woods, Hunter

    J. Cyprien ...never heard of him but after hearing him as a potential for us. Put his highlights on and dude looks like a young Ed Reed. Total instincts and cover ability. Want him.

My predictions for our next three picks:

    Jesse Williams
    Vance McDonald
    Blidi Wreh-Wilson

I'm gonna be totally off, but why not guess?

Markus Hunt is a project player, not a big fan... But I would love to get either Minter,Brown, or Williams with the 2nd rd pick... Out of the remaining Qb's I like Barkley the best...

So pretty clearly with a couple of exceptions, value in the second is going to be among smaller/skill posion playets after all the big guys taken yesterday.

By the time the Texans' pick comes back around, I fully expect a mini run on WRs amd DBs, but what do you do if it comes back around and the clear BPA is a WR? If it is someone you have a marginal 1st round grade on like, say, Kenan Allen, do you consider pulling the trigger on another WR?

    I would absolutely.

My ideal scenario yesterday would have been Sharrif Floyd sliding all the way down to 27 (highly doubtful) and Keenan Allen sliding all the way to 57 (again highly doubtful but not as much as Sharrif).

We'll see what their plans are tonight.

I'm hoping mini runs of QBs and DBs opens up our pick of the ILB crop.
