Horrible news. Hate to see an evolving competitive series hobbled by injuries. Lin sidelined with the chest contusion from a collision, now this Westbrook injury from a collision. Hopefully he pulls a MWP and heals like Wolverine.

Now all of a sudden the WC might be up for grabs...

 

injury underscores how important the win was to thunder wednesday night. At 1 & 1, Rockets could very well prevail. different story needing to win 4 out of 5, even w/o Westbrook.

I agree. This is one of those unwritten rules of basketball, where the player runs towards the sideline to call timeout and everyone just stops before the whistle blows. But I've also seen fake timeouts and they just run for an easy layup.

You can take this garbage into other 50 threads, instead of copying & pasting that in every single discussion. By the way, Lin played the first half of game 2 decently, as shown in results, stats, and "eye test".

As for LO-WHATEVER, you can be whatever you choose to, nobody knows you and nobody cares. It's an online forum, what you said is discussed, if that's worthy. What you intend for or what you really are, nobody has any proof of one way or another, and nobody gives a damn.

Ball s in play until the whistle blows, he went for a steal with his left hand. Yes he could have been called for a foul, but it was not dirty and it was not intentional contact. RW caught himself coming across the half court line lackadaisical and Beverly took a shot at stealing the ball. Is unfortunate that he was injured and you don't wish that on anyone, but it was not intentional.

i think lin even played a few games before they found out it was a tear. they couldn't pinpoint the play that hurt him but many point to the hard foul by kidd (where he dragged him down by the hair).

 

For what? He didn't even get whistled for a foul. Beverley didn't go low for his knee either. Beverley plays like this 100% of the time. He played like this in the D-league. If he plays summer ball, he will play exactly the same way. Beverley just goes hard all the time, and there's nothing wrong about that.
