calm down, beverley was going for a surprise steal b/c he knew the timeout was coming. Lin tries this ALL the time.

besides... anyone remember ginobli's defensive "play" on aaron brooks a couple of seasons ago?

I wanted to win a game with them at full strength, but winning more than one with them not a full strength will do.

The meniscus tear varies wildly in recovery time, depending on where the tear is, how big it is, and how they treat it. Might be out for quite a while, might not.

What do you think our best shot is at this point? Let Durant beat us himself?

Whatever. I would take it. If you think about it, the Rockets have lost "like this" many times (injuries to Yao and TMac).

I feel bad for Westbrook and the Thunder, though. If they end up winning this series, I wanted them to beat the Heat in the finals.

Patrick Beverley better watch out for Fisher next game. I can totally see Fisher going after him with a cheap shot in retaliation.

Time for Durant to show he is on LeBron's level. :p

I still do think the Thunder will win.

    Patrick Beverley: The Westbreaker.

After Perkins I have no pity for OKC. They had this coming.

It's what Kenny Smith talked about during halftime of the Rockets/Thunder game. Most people pressure the ball-handler when they know they're about to take a timeout. It was basketball play by Beverly. He wasn't trying to injure Westbrook.

Doesn't matter if it's 1-1 or 2-0. We just have to compete and improve each game. It's always tougher to play a a battered team especially in their first few games since they will play with higher emotions and intensity. It's a good thing that our next couple of games will be at home.

Fisher and/or Perkins is going to lay Beverly out tomorrow.

And no one deserves to get hurt.

Spot on. It sucks, but it wasn't a cheap shot by any means.

Playing isn't the problem, it's the swelling after the game that's the problem.

Do we even know that was the play he was injured on? He seemed to spring right back up after it happend.

It's actually pretty funny cause during the broadcast they mentioned how he has never missed and NBA game and I remember thinking to myself that guys that attack the rim like that eventually get injured.

Anyway, I'm not celebrating an injury but, cry me river. How many times was Yao injured in crucial points of the season? As Rockets fans we shouldn't have sympathy for anyone having to play short handed.

Hate to hear this but injuries are part of the game. Yes , Bev sorta caused the injury but it really didnt look like a lot of contact on that hit. This could really turn this series around.

If we had won game 2, then we would have a chance to steal the series, it aint happening down 2-0.

If the Rockets some how won this series, I dont care if Westbrook is out, it will be a big deal.
