The Rockets should come out and win the next two games, that should shut Perkins up. The Rockets need to come out and take it the Thunder instead of waiting to be down by 15 before getting into game.

I have never known why no one else does this, but when I was at UT in Longhorn Band, whenever a ref would make a horrible call at a football game, the entire band (350) would yell "hup" every time that particular ref's foot would hit the ground. We could annoy and piss-off a single individual in a screaming stadium of 80,000 people. It was quite effective... especially when the ref would start shuffle-stepping in the middle of an ongoing play to try and trip us up.

Anyway... rather than throw batteries and beer, I would just find something like this to irritate him.

Charles Oakley would never cry on the court. He might make someone cry...someone who's a p***y like Perkins.

This is true... Charles Oakley actually scared people that were 7' tall.

The play isn't dirty. A good chunk of the loose ball fouls called are for people grabbing and holding each other. NBA players also set moving screens all the time-- I recall reading that Adelman told his bigs in Houston to keep setting moving screens until the refs decide to call them.

It's not like Perkins tried to hurt Parsons like Bruce Bowen did when he stick his foot under a shooter. He committed a foul, refs missed it. Happens every day.

Coach McHale's been making some pretty good "panic" adjustments lately. Perhaps it's time to go to the Hack-a-Perkins, so we can all watch Kendrick airball his free throws.

guys calm down, remember its just a game that's just for entertainment. i do think his little comment upped the entertainment value for game 3 a bit. i can already picture all these anti-perkins posters that the fans will have in the toyota center

I agree with your premise, but I couldn't disagree more with this line. It's the ones that don't get caught that we remember most. (Mavs, Jazz). I don't think 'cheating' is the right word, but 'getting away with unfair actions' doesn't have a good ring to it.

I don't think anyone should do any vigilante justice to Perkins. I just think the NBA should fine him for his comment and pull their head out of their ____ in general.

yeah i agree. it's a cheap play but definitely not dirty. to me dirty= trying to hurt someone. because of the circumstance this play definitely hurts, but grabbing & shoving is quite common in the post. if the refs didn't see that split second in which perkins grabbed parsons, all they saw was parsons over-embellishment, so i'm not really surprised by the no call.

Don't wish him any harm, but would be nice if he gets food poisoning and spend the rest of his time in Houston on the toilet.

Uhh... I dont get it.... so he's calling out the FANS in Houston with essentially "fighting words" because they were upset about him holding Parsons, and the ref's not calling the foul?

Talk about stooping to an all time low. Are you really going to publicly offer up a fight to sports fans? Sounds like a smart move there genious.

Little does he know that if he actually wasn't just trying to sound like a hard A#$, and held up to his word, there are people crazy enough in Houston to jump him, and beat the crap out of him if not worse. Just dont go there idiot, and shut up.

Thanks, I actually LOL'd at that comment. Obv. they just decided to jump on in! They didn't check the pool though. It's HOT with PERKINS!

Perkins thinks he's tough because he's from around the PA, Beaumont area, but thing is he was always LOVED by AAU, and all that when he was young. He never had it tough. He was a big kid, and always got what he wanted.

Kendrick Perkins this is not Methlahoma! He is a weak link, but not on the defensive end. Clogs the hole pretty good.

First playoff game? The atmosphere is generally 10 times better.
