FIFY. Both Gotze and Lewandosky are heading to Bayern, with Hummels to follow soon enough. Bayern will likely have one of the most talented team ever. Sadly for dortmund, they should just enjoy the moment cause this is going to be a long summer transfer window.

Lewa is coming to Bayern, he's right about that one. But as I said - might be 2014. andersongo - where are you from/based?

    btw - I'm a Bayern insider.

I'm based along the east coast of Africa. Been a United fan since I was five. I used to watch any football match available on cable/sat/TNT networks back when I was in Uni. Have followed Bayern back from the FC Hollywood era

through the intense rivalry of the late 90s/early 00s with United

    up to now.
I get my transfer news from various ITKs on Utd forums, contacts in Germany and hacks like Raphael Honigstein.
Concerning the protracted transfer of the Dortmund core to Bayern, I thoroughly think that this is the straight up molestation of German football for a whole decade, hence my earlier comment of a whale in a small pond. This will cause nothing but the decline of the domestic league.

Also, Lewandosky is entering his last year of contract. Bayern can force Dortmund to sell at cut rate since Lewandosky can leave on a Bosman transfer for peanuts. Really shameful.

And to think, they're only 20 points ahead of Dortmund with Gotze and Lewandosky.

Spain and England are 2 horse races (Arsenal replaced by Chelsea replaced by Man C), have been for long periods of time, and their weaker teams have done well in Europa and at growing talent (that's eventually sold off). Television and sponsorship deals grow each year. Every major league needs a statement team (to attract outside interest) and the Bundesliga clearly have that with Bayern. So what if the other teams have to compete for 2nd? Anyone can win on any given day and it's a lot of incentive for a weaker team to go up against the big bad wolf with a target on their back. LeBron and Bosh molested the NBA, but teams find ways to keep things interesting.

Oh snap! An all German finals.

    Can we say... Die Klassische...?

I'm a Bayern fan (second to only LFC), but I hope Dortmund wins this one because Bayern will likely win the next 5 trebles.

We'd call it "Der Klassiker" but no one uses that term, the term ClĂ sico swept over to Germany.

Also, Dortmund winning the final would be a nightmare after us losing two finals in three years. 2012/13 is the season we really deserve the Treble, we are displaying prime Barca dominance.

Spain's domestic leagues is in dire straits due to to unequal distribution of TV money and waning interest in the Barca/Real duopoly. The premier league is not a two horse race, Chelsea has got en extremely talented young squad and will be right back after Roman sacks the fat Spanish wanker. Arsenal is in a bad transition period but I fully expect them to put up a challenge once their owners start spending their large cash reserve. Tottenham is a team on the rise with Bale and AVB. Don't even try to compare that to the bundesliga where the gap between Bayern and the rest will just be enormous. Mame Diouf is a top scorer there FFS.

It's amazing how a couple of games changes everything.. Just a few weeks ago people were talking about how Dortmund weren't really that great after barely getting through Malaga (excluding the very questionable calls) and now they are invincible. As a Barca fan, I'm always rooting against Madrid but let's be real here the difference between them isn't what that scoreline suggests.

The same goes for Bayern-Barca. Bayern is above any other team right now, I admit to that, but they really aren't 4 goals above Barca. Lol at the person saying Bayern will win the next 5 trebles, are you serious? Barca is at their lowest point right now of the past 5 years and Bayern at their highest, hence, the 4-0 but even if they were to play again under the same conditions don't expect the same result.

I respect lots of the knowledgeable posters in this forum but please don't be that obnoxious know it all guy.

My .02, but what do I know.

Agreed, you really don't know much.

It's a new world order, and tika taka is over. The demise began with the defeat against Chelsea last year, and has continued. Listen babe - the honeymoon is over. It was fun while it lasted, but all these effeminate men playing chess on a field of warriors was going to be figured out eventually. I was never bored of Cryuff or the Dutch teams, but Barca bores me terribly outside of Messi.

So glad real football is back on the throne

    It's set in stone

    Welcome, to the danger zone

Arsenal will continue to make mediocre $10-15 million pound signings while letting their $25 million players go. Chelsea have the talent but not the fluidity to compete this year. Realistically, it is always a 1 or 2 horse race with an extreme outsider as the 3rd. There's a lot more money in EPL, and lots of wealthy owners, so it's unlike any other league in that aspect. But league competition is relative, and even if Bayern have the title locked up for the next 5 years .. there can still be excitement for 2nd and a weaker team gaining momentum and challenging Bayern on a regular basis.

What else can you do, except pray for Oil Sheikhs to wander over?

Difference between Premier League and La Liga tv distribution comes down to whether or not the deals are negotiated collectively. Currently, La Liga is seeking a collective TV rights deal to encourage some parity in a world where, let's face it, parity is impossible (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/apr/11/la-liga-television-rights-premier-league). Spain and Portugal are the only clubs that sell their rights on an individual basis atm.

Don't listen to this clown. He knows **** all about soccer. Tiki taka is dead? Bayern has been winning based on tiki taka. A lot of piling on from haters all around and that's cool. Every dog has his day but last time I checked "real football" won back to back Euros and a WC.

It's hilarious to me because I support Bayern, after Barca of course.

Real question to those diminishing Barca's style, what system do you think Bayern will play next season? Hint: Pep will be the new boss.

From the responses after the beat down it seems like they don't want Pep anymore.by all means send him back to Catalunya because I'd love to see him come back.

So you're one of those guys I see that buy jerseys and watch Fox Soccer all day long while eating Cheese Nips and drinking Natty Light...proceeding to pretend to know who Cryuff is outside of a wiki article you once read. I'm sure you can tell me who's leading what table in any given league based on the shear amount of hours you spend watching FS News but getting you on the field could potentially kill you. If you did show up, though, it would likely be in $1000 worth of the best gear...only to have you trip over the ball on your first touch. I love playing against guys like you at indoor when I feel like playing a 4th game of the night and go slumming in Division 9.

I'm not a big Barca fan. But as someone who's, you know, actually played the game for 30+ years, you can only sit back and enjoy the nuances of Barca and the Spanish National team when they're playing at their peak. I had never even heard the term "tiki taka" until this week. I never really cared what it was called. Barca hasn't had the best season and I'm sure the rest of the world is finally catching back up to them and the rest of Spanish soccer. You have to beat them at their own game and Bayern is doing it as well as or better than anyone in the world right now.

Both Bayern and Barca play the opponent high up the pitch and holding football to control possession. However, Bayern are not a tika taka team because of their physicality and direct approach. They don't act too cute for their boots.

    Context, is everything.
