Wow! What a meltdown! A choice selection of comments from Liverpool posters on RAWK:

-****ing disgraceful, to give him a ban like that.

-He should leave the country and play elsewhere - this is just ridiculous - it's completely xenophobic.

-It's a pure and simple case of Fergies little b****es trying to force the best player in the prem out of the country...

    -im absolutely astounded

-Obvious agenda. Bit of a joke really.

-this wouldnt have happened under Rafa!

-whiskey nose is like the eye from LOTR..its gaze reaches far and Luis is like the hobbit battling his way to defeat it

-He GNAWED on the arm, he didn't bite it.

-What's the point any more? There's no justice.

-Personally I enjoyed the biting. Thought it was frivolous, childish, naughty, but hardly warranting the prudish righteous indignation this country excels at.....This country doesn't deserve a player that gives everything. Come on Bayern put the lad out of his misery.

    - Just spoke to people in my office who are NOT football fans and they think it's ridiculous he has got 10 match ban. There is a black guy in here and he's actually quite upset that being racist is seen as not as bad as biting someone

    And finally....
-We cannot let these corrupt pricks get away with this, who was on this 3 man independent panel ?

The Bundesliga is not a small pond.

    Deal with it.

So if Suarez were to leave LFC this summer and say... goes to Juventus... would the remaining match ban transfer over? I think then he'll miss his first 6 games of next season. Can FIFA do that?

Technically, yes. Football Associations usually carry over the ban dished out by another so as not to undermine each other. FIFA has got nothing to do with it. It's at the discretion of the individual FAs. But I don't think Liverpool will actually sell this lunatic as they desperately need him. The guy is scum but his abilities cannot be denied.

Agree to disagree. We shall just wait and see the evolution of the league, though it's all predictable.

Well all it takes for players these days is to submit a transfer request and he's as good as gone, for the most part. Player contracts are useless in football, outside of salary. Also aren't FA's under FIFA? I thought FIFA can punish FAs if they do something wrong, or at least punish their national team or something like that.

I don't think Suarez will submit a transfer request but we shall see....also, a lot of things don't fall under the jurisdiction of FIFA which is mainly concerned with the running and policing of international competition (although FIFA usually fails at it) and not how individual FAs dishes out and carry over sanctions in their domestic leagues which is left to their own discretion.

Still not yet understood the small pond comment? Try again. I am a huge Dortmund fan. I like their playing style, their youth and the enthusiasm for the game displayed by Klopp.

Wonder if this will force Barcelona to push for Neymar this summer instead of 2014.

Unlikely he'll leave before the World Cup. It's a done deal though. There will be changes next season either way. The loss of Puyol and King Eric were too much.

Andriano has been a major disappointment and Piqué just looks...ugh.

Song will start next season and Villa will get sold off. Hummels will be signed and I pray to God Abidal returns to lead the back line.

Exciting match between Basel and Chelsea today. Chelsea on their way to being the only team ever to win both UEL and UCL in back to back years.

Guess that's a record no team wants, from CL title to EL relegation in one year is pretty bad.

Lol at actually hoping Song starts next season. I rate Song a bit but oof, you lot need more reinforcements defensively than anything though. Actually awaiting Hummels to be signed? Barca need to aspire for greater.

It's not that bad because last year was literally the final year of contending for that Chelsea team.

Last year's Chelsea team was old and had very little youth. They did terribly in the league most likely because the players were too old to endure a 38 game season. In one off competitions, the players could actually get up and prioritize themselves which is why they were able to win the FA cup and Champions League.

They were kind of like the Boston Celtics these last couple years, too old to really do well during the regular season, but in the Playoffs they can step their game up. Of course, the Celtics just look depressing now. If Chelsea tried to run with the same players for another year it would have been downright embarrassing in both league and Champions League.

This was a transitional year from the old guard into the new guard for Chelsea. So if they win Europa, it'll be a solid stepping stone for the club.

I'm pretty sure if Neymar comes it will be right before world cup, kind of like Villa did in 08. I can see him coming in winter transfer window.. Bro, no way Song starts next year, replacing whom? Agreed on the need for defenders.
