First Round: PG Matchup - Lin vs Westbrook

This thread is still relevant. Anyone changing their prediction after Game 1?

 

that's what Lin have been this year, an average starting PG.

true westbrook < d.rose, bledsoes a athletic monster as well. if not as athletic, westbrook can only be be outplayed by himself or heady point guards, something like cp, parker, or rondo. lin and the ty lawsons of the world are ok but lets be real, they really don't stand a chance.

 

Welcome to the playoffs where your weaknesses are magnified 10x and we all know Jeremy weaknesses. First, test his jump shot if it's not working let him shoot all night long. Second, push him left into the lane, show a shot blocker he picks up the ball immediately and looks for someone to pass to. He's the easiest PG in the playoff to guard. No diversity in his skill set.

 

Conley, Curry, CP3, Lawson, Westbrook, Parker, everyone of these PG's have something Jeremy doesn't. First, handles (dribbling) skills that far exceed his. Second, able to finish at the rim with consistency. The only guard he can potential handle is Steve Blake or Nash.

 

You're nice. His chances are up, he's not in the Dleague anymore. He better show up for game 2.

 

major issue meaning he should be replaced by someone else at the starting pg spot for next year?

 

You have been missing a lot of Rockets game...played those guys in the regular
season and was on the same level. Talk about playoffs....probably missed tonight's game between Memphis and clippers... Yeah not very good night for CP3.
