i love patrick beverley and i love his attitude. we need his toughness on this team. the kid is tough as nails.
His attitude is what we need. As long as he doesn't get too many tech, his energy is always good for the team.
"Member since jul 2012" That just means you're pissed that your precious Lin is hurt and finally starting to realize this team is better without him. He deserves to be watching the post season from a nice recliner.
The Rockets have been criticized for being too soft many times, I like the edge Beverley brings and the best thing is that he is not a malicious guy either... just a good guy with an edge.
You realize this thread was created in February? I like that Bev has a bit of an edge to him. And like someone said, he's not a bad guy. Even after he knocked Westbrook over last night he tried to help him up but got his hand swatted away.
Pop would love Bev <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/M5xM8Z618zI?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
The key is controlled aggression...And he clearly demonstrated how to get under his opponents skin and still be just as productive...had several deflections on Westbrooks drives soon after that...Beverely's attitude is what has been the difference in this series so far..."I want some nasty..."
People b**** about everything on this site now. He too rough, he's too mean, he's too soft...the guy was playing with heart and determination, not letting people punk him around. I respect that.
So playing with heart and swagger is now seen as a bad attitude? I wouldn't change a thing about his temperament. You can't compete with players like Westbrook if you're scared of them.
Bad attitude? I don't see that at all. The kid is playing with heart, drive, and energy. I love PB12... just love him!
The way Bev gets under Westbrook's skin reminds me of how Dragic used to get under Westbrook's skin last season. Every time Goran would starting playing tight defense on Westbrook, he'd get mad and shoot the Thunder out of the game. Bev's attitude in the game last night gave me hope for the series. After Game 1 (heck, even before game one) I was expecting very bad things for the rest of the series, but now I know this team can put up a fight and make it tough on the Thunder.
