Dude plays nothing like Lillard. That being said, I'll take Beverley over that overrated rook any day of the week.

Is it ok for our max player starting shooting guard to average 36% to end the season?

Westbrook is a punk, slapping Beverley's hand away like that. Punk tried a few times to start something. What was Pat supposed to do, bow down before the great Westbrook?

I think it is hilarious that we have 5 power forwards who have proved unable to hold down a starting role so we turn to a 6 ft guard to fill the fifth starting spot...and he rebounds better than the lot of those power forwards.

Here's to Beverley, his tenacity, his perseverance, and his future as a Houston Rocket.

I'm not going to say that he will be the starter next season, but considering he will have a training camp with the team and will be more acclimated to the NBA from day one, I certainly think it is foolish to bet against him.

Did the Rockets see something? Durant only scored 2 points in the 4th. I think. Can Beverley be our weapon against Durant?

Taller? Yes. Lin is taller than Westbrook; who is better?
Bigger - goes with taller, generally.
    Faster - please....
Better court vision - sometimes except when throwing cross-court hero passes
Better at drawing fouls - don't really see that.

Court vision can improve. Plenty of offensive guards have done it over the years.

In this playoff war so far, Beverly has been the Rockets #1 or #2 best player. Lin played better tonight, but still hasn't played as well as Beverly at any moment in the playoffs.

I love free throws too, but that's not an excuse for field goal percentage, which excludes attempts where one is fouled (unless it is an And1 situation)

The only time the Rockets beat the Thunder this year was when Lin closed out the game and schooled Westbrook. Lin dominated that game in the 4th quarter. That was the 1 and only win all season long against them.

Just because Lin doesn't alk smack that is not a negative. Barry Sanders did not go a TD celebration or talk smack and he was arguably the greatest RB of all time. Some people prefer to stay classy, not saying Beverly said anything wrong.

No...but stating FG% for a guard like Harden barely tells half the story in regards to efficiency. I know Lin hasn't been as good as we've expected, but there's no need to put down others to make him look better.

There's more to basketball than shooting. When your PG has the rebounding and defensive presence of a big man, that's tremendously valuable to the team.

Look at true shooting percentage and then tell me Harden ain't efficient.

Lillard is a hustle player, and is pretty damn solid on defense.

Avery Bradley might be a better comparison.

Listen i love Beverly...But Liliard has ice water veins...that kid is sick...and if he was in the playoffs this year, he would be talked about quite a bit...he is the consensus 2nd best player from last years draft...
