With the Bev playing like tonight, yeah, he should start, especially Lin is hurt.

Bev is doing everything tonight. The only thing he can do better is running the offense and setup good shots for teammates. Right now he is making all the hustle plays.

Bonus is he is in Westbrook's head, Westbrook will jack up shots and shots from now on because he is stupid.

Said it plenty of times, won't be surprised if Lin is traded in the off season. Only difference is now the injury makes it even harder to move his contract.

We gave Lin his contract before we were able to get Harden. Lin takes the ball away from Harden, and he takes minutes away from a much better defender and energy guy in Beverley, not to mention 8 million dollars worth of flexibility from Morey.

It's not hard to notice how much more movement happens off the ball when Beverley is in. He's initiating it. He's running to different corners and thus forcing others to move.

Was Beverley guarding Westbrook the entire 4th quarter?

    Won't mind that.

Lin is never fully accepted by Houston fans. From the minute he signed with Rox, people just constantly whine about it and want to replace him with every PG possible, Dragic, Lowry, Tony, Beverley, etc. etc.

His inconsistency doesn't help him either. But I still believe he will become a much better player, maybe not in Houston. But it is OK.

Great game by Beverly. I like the 3 guard line-up. No one can guard Durant, so might as well put Harden on him.

Lin was playing well before the injury. Brooks looked like he still belongs overseas.

This sounds absurd to say, but Beverley has so much more potential than Lin it's crazy. I hope/ wish he could be our long term point guard.

Beverley will make a ton of money out of this series. He's going to help the Rockets a ton, too. He'll either solidify himself as one of our best trading chips, or he'll land the label of point guard of the future.

Dude needs to start wearing sunglasses at night.

So it's okay for your starting PG to come out and average 36% FG to start the season after signing a big contract?

And then have fans making BS excuse after another for his poor performance?

Beverley is the motor of this team. He was the one guy we needed to be on the court at all times. Games 1 and 2--the face of "young and fearless" tag

The NBA knows Beverley now. Announcers kept giving props to him.

How does Bev have more potential? Lin is taller, bigger, faster, better court vision, better at drawing fouls. Bev has a better set shot, and is a better man-on-man defender on smaller guards. Lin can improve his jumper, Bev cannot improve his court vision. Bev may be a starting PG one day, but he'll never be a PG that is a floor general.

Rockets and Lin need to part ways... Have been saying it since November. Better for the Harden centric Rox... Better for Lin (who should ideally go back to the Eastern conference).

Will he continue the HOU tradition of back-up PG outplaying the starting PG? Oh no, not again ...

He was jumping his heart out on those rebounds. I think the announcers said game leading rebounder at one point.

He was amazing tonight, but I still wonder if he could play with so much energy every night when playing starters minutes. I still see him as a very good backup.
