I 100% agree, line should be coming off the bench

    Makes sense.
Bev on westy, our best backcourt defender
lin on thabo, not really a big offensive threat, lin just has to not overhelp too much
harden/parsons, on ibaka/durant, makes sense since ibaka really hurt us last game playing that stretch 4, putting a quicker defender on him should help.
Asik on perkins, the usual defensive matchup.

Now another advantage of this lineup is, it should free up ab for some playing time at the backup point. We could use his veteran experience and scoring ability on our second unit.

Hope it works out tonite xD

same here, I don't think when we go small, we need more shooter on the floor, I hope they stack Lin and Harden's time

Lol line... just found it kind of funny for no reason  but the point of Lin being in is small ball

actually this match up should get Lin free lance more like in that Utah win, where Lin drift to help inside, and use his speed to recover, and the team don't rotate for him.

Hmmm, that's definitely shaking things up. Lin will get to be the free safety and have him aggressively help against Durant and Westbrook. Let Thabo try to beat us. It's even better if OKC tries to attack the Ibaka/Harden mismatch. That will hopefully throw the OKC offense out of sync.

Free safety against a 41.9 percent 3 pt shooter.

Something tells me that is not a good idea.

man, I think Harden will just pick up those fouls

it may open up the lane and make our ball movement faster, but I don't like the mismatch that this will create for Ibaka/Perkins.

Put Asik on Ibaka and Harden on Perkins. Parsons should never leave Durant.

Harden on Perkins? You're asking for zero chance to get a rebound

Perkins will probably only play 20 minutes. So I wouldn't figure him much in the equation. Doesn't really sound like a great idea either.

On 3 fga per game. Let's see how that holds up. It's all about increasing the variance, right?

at least Perkins doesn't have an offensive game. Harden will also not be able to rebound vs Ibaka

Good adjustment by coach...This lineup would create more space for Jeremy and James.

Harden's defense wasn't why we lost the last game dude...

This lineup change is corny. Classic overreaction for a no-identity team with a panicky coach.

The one thing I really hope to see in this thread coming into the game is support the players regardless of performance and save the criticism for half-time/end-game so that at the very least we can make the experience enjoyable.

lol Ibaka is gonna grab 30 rebounds tonight!! Lin was fine on Westbrook, westy was 3-8 with Lin on him last game. Dont matter Rockets losing anyway. Everyone already knows, if they take it to 5 games it's an accomplishment.
