if you want Love, and I do, then hope Adelman retires. Except if he retires then that portends poorly for his wife, and I do not want Love that badly.

I do think that he's attainable bc Minnesota knows he's bouncing when he gets a chance.

If Minny lose Adelman and don't get someone excellent to replace him, I predict Love will bolt quickly. If he decides to do so, we better get him. There is nothing more unstoppable than a PF who can hit 40% of his 3's and grab 12 rebounds playing with a SG who goes to the line 10 times a game and dishes out 5+ assists.

Surround them with 3 guys who can defend. You have yourself a contender.

Posted this in the trade ideas thread, but I think it applies. Personally, I think Love would make us into a contender in a couple years time. Think of how he can space the floor for Harden to drive with less congestion just for starters. We'll be a dominant rebounding team, and we won't have to rely on Harden alone.

    HOU IN: Love, Bledsoe
HOU OUT: Parsons, Lin, T-Rob, T-Jones, 2014 1st Round Pick

LAC IN: Parsons, T-Jones, Malcom Lee
    LAC OUT: Bledsoe, Grant Hill

MIN IN: Lin, T-Rob, Grant Hill, 2014 1st Round Pick
    MIN OUT: Love, Malcom Lee

Why Houston would do it: Obvious reasons. No need to beat a dead horse, but we need a PF upgrade that can score inside too. Bledsoe is an athletic, up-and-coming PG that plays great defense as well. Possibly a Harden situation where he just needs to start to thrive. Plus, Beverley has been great so losing Lin isn't a huge hit.

Why LAC would do it: They need to add depth to the PF line. Right now they have nothing after Griffin, really, and have already shown interest in getting a PF. T-Jones has potential to be very good, but doesn't need to start. Parsons is a great SF on a low contract, where they have an aging Butler on a pretty big contract. He'd be an upgrade. They don't need Bledsoe really if Paul resigns.

Why Minnesota would do it: They need a SG. Lin is obviously more of a SG if you've watched Houston play this year, and he's much better than Ridnour and can play at the point when Rubio is out. Lin will also bring in revenue, which any owner wants. T-Rob has a lot of potential, and Derrick Williams can play SF or PF (a hole left by Love's absence). Grant Hill balances salaries and gives a veteran presence in the locker room.

Here's the Trade Machine if you want to visualize it: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=az5ggyd

You can't be serious...Lin is more of a SG? Lol, yes he is more of a SG in the Rockets' offense because Harden is the better play maker. I do like the trade, but it ain't happening.

Yeah I don't think it has a chance of happening, but it still seems like a pretty fair trade. Lin is more of a SG on this team regardless of why, which means he could be at Minnesota too. He could start next to Rubio without ruining the flow of the offense. That was the only point I was making by saying that.

The problem is if he scores 25 and gives up 26, he was a -1 for the game.

I am not going to even pretend that I truly understand Euro coaching concepts but I do know that Rubio won enough Euro awards to fill a room and at a very young age.

Also, who are all these good players in Minnesota?

That's a bunch of nonsense meaningless stuff at Wikipedia.

Only one award had at anything to do with Euroleague, and that award is just for the player under 22 that the Euroleague thinks is going to have the biggest star name in the future.

And some of those awards are complete joke awards.

I like Love alot. He puts up huge superstar type numbers but is he really a superstar? I havent watched him play much as I would like to but I never see him a create a shot. It's always a spot up 3, pick n roll towards the rim or an offensvie putback.

Can he create his own shot? That is a sign of a true superstar.

Love is a superstar who's been on absolutely crap teams made even crappier by injuries. He can also create his own shot also and isn't a guy who can only score on assisted shots.
