Read the article, owner said he can barely hold on to ball when he actually played some minutes. He was a sideshow for the Asian population there. He was full on scrub. Go back in time and you will do the same thing. Hindsight is 20/20.

Wut? Hahaha. You serious? JR is streaky as hell and mental. Want a locker room cancer? He's it. Want a chick to bang, go to jr. He will take a pic and post it on twitter for you.

ahaha, what? no love for JR, he won 6th man, just like harden did...he can produce huge numbers on offense too. You harden fans are so easily offended, JR was allstar calibre this year and he's been huge for NY.

He has melo drawing double teams all game. Hes a good second option but his inefficiency would be even more highlighted if he were a first option

I read the article and you conveniently forgot this part:

"...several folks at our basketball operations felt he had promise, we thought we’d be able to circle back and re-sign him at a later time."

Bring him back for what? Assuming he sucked so bad on other teams that they cut him one by one like the rockets and almost the knicks, why else would u bring him back other than using him as an asian side show.

ok fine i admit, he's abit crazy, but im just saying he's been balling this year. I never said he was BETTER than harden, but just on a pure basketball standpoint, you cant honestly say harden is wayyy better. Harden is also prone to shooting slumps and turnovers.

Yes he's abit wild, here are his stats...he shoots about 42% which is not great...but 18ppg and 5reb not bad! At least you can agree that steph curry is better than harden tho right

Stop trolling. You're just bitter an asian kid is getting paid in the NBA and you were last one picked on the playground every weekend.

Owner is exagerrating here. Why would he have wanted to sign him back if he was just a full on scrub? I checked his stats. 2.3 turnovers per 36 minutes?

They overlooked Lin just like everyone else. Yes hindsight is 20/20.

I do feel for the guy. Can you imagine having released Lin in a heavily Asian community like the Bay Area? It must be 1000X worse than what "McFail" is getting with benching Lin every now and then.

Jr has amazing talent. But he will never reach his full potential when something is missing in his head. Harden is significantly more efficient than jr. There is no comparison.

Ok fine, whatever, but I'll leave all your JR haters with this amazing celebration after a buzzer beater.

Dude, I'm not trolling. If Lin was released by the knicks, he would be playing in Boston where he would rot behind rondo. Then he will make his rounds to the lakers where he might actually get some playing time. Without linsanity, Lin will never get the proper opportunity and will be playing in Europe by now.

Ain't nothing wrong with his pay. He earned it.

You are comparing a time when "he seemed to lose the ball more than score" to after Linsanity

Sometimes I wonder how much better this team would be if Lin was never signed and we kept Goran and Scola, just traded for Harden and signed Asik.

    Our starting lineup of...

    Harden
    Parsons
    Scola
    Asik
    Dragic

This team would definately be in the 6th seed at least, plus we wouldnt have to deal with LOF's gibberish.

For GSW, Joe Lacob is the guy making moves. Guber doesn't do anything.

And it's kind of a fluke the Warriors made it to the playoffs this year. Everything their management has done, from trading Monte to cutting Lin, has been to get a decent 5 into their rotation. They finally ended up with Bogut as their cornerstone but the guy has either been injured or when he does play, chemistry gets screwed up and they lose.

Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Jarret Jack performing at a high rate are the reasons they got the 6th seed. Guber has nothing to do with it. Even though he's blowing his own horn and trying to take credit for it.

The point is Lin worked on his game. Not a lot of people saw the Linsanity thing coming but even in preseason last year when he was with Houston he had some promise. At that point I was sure that he was good enough to make an NBA roster and stick for a long time. I'm sure when the Warriors cut him, he wasn't that good, but he worked over the summer.
