Starter or not, they play similar minutes and have similar stats. Not sure how you can say they are not comparable.
Way to flame bait. Nobody said anything about comparing Lin to curry. He said he had curry and didn't needed Lin. Lin was released, the right decision. Stop trolling.
I don't believe in Luck. He is what he is. Yes, Knicks gave him the opportunity, but opportunity is only available to those who is prepared.
With the knicks, pretty hard not to do better considering their awfulness last year. And this year, the eastern conference is absolutely dreadful. Golden state got rid of Ellis a high scoring low efficiency guard. The addition of a quality big man in bogus makes a difference.
I dont think anyone should be comparing Lin vs. Curry. They're good friends. One will go down as the greatest 3 point shooter of all time while the other will become a borderline all star. Curry is clearly better and better fit than Lin, so obviously the owner didn't make a mistake. And its better for Lin too. He probably wouldn't have had enough opportunities to play to his potential behind Curry in Golden State. I do hope Lin works out with Curry this summer on his shooting, though.
lol @ people comparing lin to curry. we need a new PG and PF for next season to go to the next level and get outside of the first round.
YES! Also having watched steph curry play last night, it's obvious he's not only an amazing shooter but a great off the ball player with a great instincts on how to fit into his team's offensive schemes. Huge steph curry fan, wish the rockets had him instead of harden
Come on guys, even the hardcore LOFs would agree, steph curry is significantly better than Lin at this point. It's just a fact, curry is clearly an allstar calibre player right now.
No one compared Curry and Lin. It was one person who obnoxiously stated that Curry was way better than Lin as if that wasn't a foregone conclusion already.
how is that the right decision? they needed a back up point guard and they chose charles jenkins instead of lin.
Can the Rockets trade Lin for Chalmers? He's about to win his second ring. That's the type of PG a team needs to win the 'ship.
