Morey probably helped him write that article. IOW, we had him and cut him for similar reasons. No one knew he would turn out to be a capable starter when he got cut from GS and ended up in our training camp, only to be cut at the end of camp.

That's funny, I recall Lin having good games against GS, one of which he contributed a significant amount of 3s in a blowout where we almost broke the most 3s in a game. I would love to play GS in playoffs, too bad we aren't. Wonder if the owner of GS would put out that same letter. Funny he chose to do it after the entire season ended and Lin had a bad playoff debut. Why not the beginning of the season to show he really believed in his choices? People were also saying GS definitely over performed this year as well.

hahahaha.. seriously. it was never about curry vs. lin. lin was not a threat to curry. smh at people arguing about this. and no i have no idea who charles jenkins is. by the way i thought it was AC Law that keith smart decided to keep over lin?

and by the way, he mentioned in his article about lin's turnovers.... hmm... from what i remember, lin was known more as a defensive specialist while at GS. funny how defense is now a knock on the guy.

GSW is one Curry ankle injury away from being in the lottery once again.

seriously? you really believe this, or are you just trolling?

averaging 14 and 6, starting for 82 games for the first time, and he won't get a roster spot even if he doesn't improve one bit?? not even as a third string PG? damn...

yeah keith not so smart and preacher ill cheat on my wife mark jackson had a chance to to keep lin but they chose ac law, where is he playing this year?
its unfair to compare lin and curry. curry is a second generation nba player who was groomed his whole life to shoot, he grew up shooting with his dad del and even shot in his teens with ray allen who del told him to watch and emulate. other than stephs shooting what else can he do.
the warriors did won a game last night without their all star pf. if we are claiming we are better we better steal this game tonight in okc
head to head lin 3-1 against steph, prob has better d and more steals and rebounds than steph. we should have been the 6 seed instead of the dubs.
there would be no way for lin to show his talent or develop even if the dubs kept him behind curry, monte, thompson.
    glad lin is here
    other than tha

Lin is irrelevant to the warriors improving.

Problem is they need cap space now to improve or Harrison Barnes to turn into a superstar himself.

I think Jarret Jack would be the one to compare Lin to. Don't know much about Jack - but I suppose they are comparable players.

Jack is tougher, stronger, defends better and shoots better. Not much to compare.

Every time Curry got trapped, I said, "please don't twist his angles!"

Contrary to popular belief, I don't think McHale pulls Lin for missing shots, but because he's too passive. From some of his interviews, I really do think Lin is a bit too self-conscious at times. If his shot isn't falling, he immediately goes into passive mode not because of McHale (as his fans like to believe), but because he's too afraid that he'll lose the game for his team. He's like the anti-Westbrook in that sense.

He also tries a bit too hard to cater to the other guys on the team imo. Obviously Harden is our clear cut first option and should get his shots, but it seems like Lin feels like he has to make sure Parsons, Asik, etc. gets theirs as well, and he ends up forcing shots to them. How many times have we seen him pass to someone when he can clearly take it to the rim? Once again it goes back to him being self-conscious and tries too hard to be unselfish.

As for the Lin vs. Curry debate, I'd still take Curry in a heartbeat, but at least Lin seems to outplay Curry in their matchups. I can live with that.
