I think Dion Waters has what it takes to be a very good SG in a few years.

Irving - LMA combo would be really good though.

And if LeBron goes back to Cleveland, that would be the best trio in basketball, I think.

I would trade the entire team (except Harden) and picks for years to get LMA on this team.

Lebron, Kyrie, and LaMarcus. That would be nice for Cleveland.

The only way you trade Asik or Parsons is if you're getting a perennial All-Star (i.e. superstar) in return. LaMarcus Aldridge is not that. However, I'd be willing to part with anyone else, plus any combination of picks Portland wants (within reason).

Just read J.R. Smith is likely declining his option with NY. Would like him to come to Houston. Doubt that ever happen, but would be nice to have another legit scoring option. Think he wants big money though and starting role. Id see him more a 6th man in Houston too.

I am sure living in Cleveland, playing for Brown and with a chucking point guard appeals to Aldridge.... will be really excited to sign an extension.

If Aldridge is available I am sure the Rockets will get involved.

Cleveland's interested in Aldrige, just like I'm interested in becoming global dictator.

    Not happening.

I disagree. LMA might not be a superstar but he's a one of the best PF's in the league. Lin and Asik for LMA would be a FANTASTIC trade for the Rockets IMO. However, the Blazers would never do that trade.

It says right in the excerpt that Cleveland wants him, not that Portland is making him available. There are only a handful of pfs more appealing than Aldridge so yes, obviously Cleveland would want him over Tristan Thompson, along with the majority of the league

LMA isn't going anywhere. Not with the contract they just gave Batum and not with the ROTY playing with them. They are set to make the playoffs next season.
