The Furkan future looks bright. Morey dubbed him on the radio as the power forward version of Omer. He also says that their is a good possibility that he comes over next year.

Bima, I agree with what you said. I was talking about 'potential' quality rotational players. I could be wrong, but after reading/watching through relevant scouting reports/videos, I don't think those prospects are ready to help immediately(even as backup). Again it's no shame for early second rounders. Maybe I have too much faith in Morey's ability to find the Delfino's, Beverly's out of thin air...

I actually find them very interesting, because usually you don't even have such prospects in early second round. But Morey always looks for first round talent in second round, and possible star in middle first round, even if they don't always pan out. In earlier interview he even said something like aiming for quality rotational player is not the right way to draft.

Personally I just think there're better prospects available around where we pick. They may not be available, but I think Dieng/Green/Muscala are all able to contribute as rotational players right away, while still have pretty good upside. Green/Muscala are projected to be picked in early second according to draftexpress.

He looked pretty good in the hoop summit game.

    For those that missed it:

There is no way that Adetokoubo will be there in the 2nd round. In Greece they had the interviews where NBA managers were saying he would go between 5-10 in the first round.

And he's not intending to stay in Europe either. There was talk that his manager was even advising NBA teams not to draft him unless they intend him to play in the US next year.

He does not want to get drafted, then "stashed" in Europe. He's intent on playing in the US next season.

He's a nice player. But he has had a horribly bad season this year. Much worse than how he played last year, and at a lower level league also.

I usually trust draftexpress more, and both of them are ranked in the 20's. I also think DMo/Trob would likely to be traded for pick(s), so we may have a chance of drafting him.

I wouldn't say it's that bad. He's had a simliar season but in an inferior league. However, he's rebounding ability is outstanding, and he should be a better NBA player than Dmo.

Morey always try to inflate the trade value of his players...remember how he applauded Dorcey/Dmo when picking them up. Unfortunately undersized players have difficulty translating to NBA.

Considering the level of those leagues, that's not good production at all. He does play on a deep team, but then again, it's a fairly average team by Euroleague standards.

He's actually had a much worse season than he did last year.

Based purely on his Euro league/cup stats in last couple of years, His MPG. PER are pretty much the same. with better rebound/steal/block and less TO per 40 minutes pace adjusted. And he finished better.

He went to the line less, and didn't shoot well at charity line.

I'd say he performed similarly as last season but it's an inferior league. Again it's not based on any Turkish league stats.

He went from being one of the best players on his team last year, to being almost an afterthought on the same team this year.

I'm not saying he's not a good player, because he is. I like his game quite a lot. He's an aggressive player and he has energy.

I'm just saying that for whatever reason, his role on his team this year definitely reduced noticeably.

Šarić is terrible and the reason he declared for this year's draft is guaranteed money in the first round. His father is a greedy ******* who controls the kid because Dario, politely said, lacks intelligence. If he stayed in Cibona for one more year, even the scouts would finally realize how average he truly is compared to a deep 2014 pool.

Alex Abrines and Dennis Shroeder are the best out of this group...

I've had my eye on Noiguera for awhile now. I don't think he'll pan out, but I wouldn'r be surprised to see a team take a flier on him in the late first round, partly because bigs are rare and this draft is especially weak.

Muscala is Brian Butch slow. He'll never make it in the league. Dieng has some potential as a bench big. Green....sure. Scoring point guards are a dime a dozen. I like him but honestly guys with his size and skillset..you can pick up easily.

I think the logical thing to do is to go ahead and draft Glen Rice, Jr. if he is still available with our pick. He's got talent. He's already played very well against superior talent than what he would have faced in college. I think he's got a chance to be a player.

LIN/ASIK or even Thomas alone can net us a first round pick....
and ASIK wont be traded unless for just a first round pick

I'm high on Muscala/Dieng/Green. All of them could contribute in rotation pretty soon, and they have pretty good upside IMO.

Muscala showed tremendous improvement every year, and have top tier rebounding rate(historically). Dieng's phsical attributes is off the chart with elite defense ability. Green is highly productive/efficient 2way player.

I don't see much info about Glen Rice, Jr on draftexpress.com, so I'll reserve my judgement.

Rice, Jr. played for RGV all season. You should have caught his games.

Muscala did show improvement but you have to consider his competition. He didn't play anybody most of the season. When he played against Butler, a legit top 10 team, he struggled with their speed. He's slow on the college level. He'll be even slower at the NBA level. I like the kid. But he's just another pedestrian 7-footer. Won't be special.

Rice Jr. may go undrafted. But I would be surprised.

Both draft express and nbadraft.net have us taking that french kid. I'd be ok with taking a flier on him. He just dominated the Nike Hoops Summit playing finishing the pick and roll with Andrew Wiggins. Looked very good. I kinda doubt he's still there with our pick but if he is he's a good gamble.

Now I see Rice, Jr. He's ranked in late second round now. Another interesting player who may go undrafted or in late second round is Carrick Felix. I hope we could stash them in Dleague and offer an opportunity later.

Muscala had some pretty good games against better competition during the season, but the last game against Butler is disappointing(not surprising because he's the focal point of their offense, so opponents are ultra aggressive to gameplan for him). Still I'd take four years of excellance over one bad game. The reason a lot of teams were not high on Lillard is his relatively poor performance against strong competition in his senior year...

The french kid is interesting, and it's another sign the draft is fairly deep especially in late first and early second.
