Not really, their team isn't stacked offensively at all, compared to the Rockets, yeah... RW and KD are the only players on their team that can consistently get you 15+ points on any given night, even during a bad game. I'd say a team like Denver is more stacked offensively.
No, we don't like a player from another team bad-mouthing our players. And yes, referring to a player or team as selfish is bad-mouthing. So, as a Rockets fan, Ibaka can go f**k himself. He's got the same number of rings as everyone on the Rockets' roster: ZERO.
So long as you have Kevin Durant on your team, then you are fine offensively. You throw in WB then your a top offensive team. You throw in the likes of Kevin Martin and add the tremendous improvements of Ibaka, then yes, your team is offensively stacked....
Ibaka is already at 13.2 ppg at a .573 fg percentage. Thabo is at .481 fgp and 3pt% .419. I think they are stacked enough for Westbrook not to chuck that many shots a game.
Ibaka and Harden has a history according to this: http://www.terezowens.com/james-harden-traded-cause-he-was-hitting-on-teammates-girl/
Are people really that ignorant about basketball? If a play get's broken up, which happens a lot against OKC, then we have to improvise. Do people really think we are a top offensive because we run nothing but isos? Seriously some of y'all need to lay off the paint chips or crack.
He's absolutely correct. The rockets played an abysmal game across the board. 1. really disturbing to see Harden doggin' it on the offensive end, trailing every play in the first quarter as if he were recruited from a senior citizen's center. 2. chandler was jawin' with durant. He caught the ball, then tried a fancy step back 22 footer which was a complete brick. 3. asik looked like he had never played basketball. He was traveling, confused about what to do with a basketball once he caught it, blowing layups and generally looking like a dog. 4. I don't know what lin was thinking. He had a few nice dimes here and there, but he threw one incredibly bad high risk pass along the baseline and totally got caught out of position gambling on the defensive end. The coaching staff was livid. It was a horrendous game. The rockets had absolutely no game plan whatsoever.
Excuse me, but some posters sound like they're demanding that the Rockets grow up and incubate over night. Uh, you do remember who we are right ? I expect a better game, but OK is not a pretender. Go Baby Rockets!
This. And it starts from top down. Ibaka is right....BUT....that doesn't mean we can't adjust. My only issue is that #3 on the totem (McHale) has no friggin clue what he's doing when it comes to "adjusting" If this lights a fire under their azzes......thank chewbacka. Could the beginning of a long standing rivalry. Story lines are all there..... My popcorn stay ready!
So what was the excuse for team USA.... My point is this, just because you have all the talent does not mean that you're guaranteed to win a championship. When Houston won it's first championship the only true superstar on that team was Hakeem. I hate the superstar excuse...
If there is just one weakness the Rockets do not have, it is selfishness. They may not have great chemistry, but they're not selfish. Sure, Harden can be a ball-stop sometimes, but even he is not selfish.
It was shot at JAMES HARDEN, not the Rockets, and not the other players on the Rockets. Come one guys, let's stop trying to pretend that it was anything other than that. It was no way intended as a diss to the Rockets. It was so obviously a diss at James Harden.
You know you're screwed when the opposing team's players are blatantly pointing out one of the most obvious flaws. We're too predictable and need to change. Enough of this scramble for points. Time for more structure
