Theoretically someone could have made 10billion dollars using twitter in one minute. Maybe twitter should be worth 100's of billions of dollars?

Wow it looks like aapl actually did something to jolt the stock. Huge buyback and div increase and they beat on iPhone and iPad sales and they beat on revs. They announced they would be utilizing 100 billion of their cash hoard by 2015.

That said I would look to use this as an opportunity to take profits or minimize losses. Aapl still needs to address their declining eps and lack of a product pipeline.

Looks like they are going to tap the debt markets to help payout divs and buybacks. I think that is smart with how cheap it is for corporations to get money.

Man I'm not really sure how to view aapl now that it seems like they are willing to use their cash.

They are selling more of their old phone which have a smaller margins. Pretty soon I think the smart phones will become like any other commoditized product, and no company will be able to have such crazy margins on phones.

The margin compression on both cell phones and tablets is very real with Apple. Most of their profit over the last few years had come from that division of the company so the margin compression is a huge deal.

Am I wrong for thinking Microsoft will be a better investment than either Apple or Google after 5 years from now?

Microsoft has its band and it will stick around there. Their windows business should decline their business division should go up, but overall I don't see where the growth comes from.

I was thinking Chinese wage-inflation could cost Apple its margins, though it will make up for it with an increase in Chinese sales - due to wage-inflation. However, I think the future holds bright for Netflix and Pandora, and since streaming is the future Microsoft has a good market-share for home computers - the XBox.

Man the 10 year treasury just keeps rising. We are down to 1.62% in yield. The crazy thing is that the market is up since it started it's move from about 2% yield in early March.

Nice call. The market is strong. We've cleared those prior highs on the S&P. Oil is strong, copper bounced, housing is solid, and the market simply isn't reacting to any bad news. Yet people are still cautious about the market.

Thanks. I keep looking for the pull back, but this thing just keeps going and going. Healthy markets need a pull back yet this thing keeps going. I'm buying this thing, but I'm continuing to trade with tight stops. Because whenever this thing decides to have a pull back with as over extended as it has gotten it could get ugly. But hell as long as I'm on the right side of the trade ***** it.
