There's a difference between losing and getting reamed. The ****storm on here wouldn't be as bad if the game wasn't over midway through the 3rd quarter.
not saying the team is better without harden or parsons, but in the few games he didn't play, we took out the clippers and some other team by passing the ball and taking turns leading the attack, the team ball style looks great. It's also not just the last game where there is too much ISO, it's been like this for last few games. we won the worst team in the west by taking advantage of a goal tending call and then lost to them at home.
Question is around the 3 minute 4 sec mark. "You guys switched a lot yesterday on pick and rolls and just in general; what does that do for you guys as a team and what kind of problems did that give Houston?" "Ah, it made them be kind of selfish. Know? You know? Eh. When you switch against a team like them, that makes them, eh, a lot 1 on 1. That good for us. To, for... so, for them, they can take some tough shots, you know, some, some contested shots. So, that is something we want. That is what w-we are looking for."
I personally, don't like Ibaka. Not as a player more based on what I've seen/experienced of his personality. That being said, he is absolutely right in that regard to this team being selfish. I still don't understand why Delfino gets so many minutes off the bench when he takes some of the most shots on the team and a majority of them are failed 3 point attempts.
Ibaka's most likely just repeating what OKCs coaches told them during their scouting report briefings. It's been this way for a while now. Having said that, it's not that we're selfish, it's that we have no other play!!
I hate James Harden go ISO on a lot of teams. But against Thurders, Rox has no other options. The No2 and No 3 options (Lin and Parsons) was totally ineffective. Thurders D is too good for them.
Hopefully when Ibaka comes over here some good Rockets fan will mix a strong laxative in their food. Then his transition defense will be leaking every where.
