comparing our P&R with Knicks' P&R under D'Antoni with Tyson Chandler, is like comparing a full service massage in thailand with your gf's blow job.

So which is better? Full service all the way in Thailand or a bj from your gf whom you genuinely love?

McHale didn't miss those shots, Lin did. It's on him, all the responsibility and all the glory.

Same could be said for Lin last year, smh. You guys are terrible. It's one thing to talk smack about his bad performance in the last game, but to denounce his whole career for it, while dismissing all his accomplishments?? It's like you guys were waiting for him to play badly so you could call him a D2 player or a D-leaguer or a bench player, lol. It must have been hard to wait for him to start playing badly while he started playing well for nearly the entire 2nd half of the season.

Haters in the guise of "we're Rockets fans" and "we're fans we can talk bad about Lin if he plays badly" while giving everyone else a pass for everything are the worst. Noone defends Lins poor performance last game! Anyone who is defensive is because you haters are murdering Lin's game and accomplishments and if fans support that, they are r****ds. Bev played better than harden last game, Lin played better than hard the game before, it happens, so what.

You guys were the same ones hating on Lin during Linsanity, you know you are. A hyped up player? Did you see the games during Linsanity? No player could do what he did unless he is mega talented. Any accomplishments he made are flukes? Smh, so basically whatever good he does doesn't count or is proof that he is inconsistent and any bad games he has are incontrovertible proof that he sucks, right? Go continue to listen to SASmith and the other Lin is hype memes out there and continue to see th game with blinders on. Yes, Lin played horrible, but you guys are something else. Makes me sick.

Bev played great defense on Westbrook and Lin didn't huh? Lol, you'd probably even see the same. Thing of you watched it a hundred times though that is NOT what happened, lol. Testament to your ignorance and bias. And you don't like Apple and Sony, right.

What pisses people off about Lin is when he lacks ANY sort of aggression and dominance over the ball. Contrary to what some people here think (incorrectly) of Harden, he would rather Jeremy take more control and relieve some of the pressure that Harden has had to face in terms of carrying the offense NIGHT IN NIGHT OUT. It was very much deer in the headlights stuff, but remember, it was HIS FIRST PLAYOFF GAME. He got ambushed. Big deal, we aren't going past OKC this year, and we aren't trading him, because if theres one thing that people learnt from linsanity is that his ceiling is far above that of any non-rookie PG on a similar contract. He has extremely limited experience at the NBA level, and is going up against Superathelete WB. i honestly thought he defended him better then beverly, got beaten off the dribble a surprising amount

Lin had a scurred moment. It happens. Magic choked hard back in the early 80s and was dogged for it. People have the right to bash him all they want, but the hate is strong against Lin and people don't even seem to see it. Btw, it's been like this even during Linsanity, and I've seen those games, those were not hype. Now, he had a meh season, imo, but the ridiculous vitriol against in like he stole their money, smh. Don't know what to make of it.

I guess the system has forced Jeremy to develop his 3 pointer which has shown great improvement during the season. If we are going to run the same/similar system next year I guess he is developing well.

A lot of players didn't play up to their contracts yesterday night. Including "superstar" and "best shooting guard in the league" James Harden. Totally wasn't worth his 5 year max the first game of the playoffs. Or the last few games of the season either.

But yeah, you go ahead and stick your head in the sand where Lin is concerned. After-all, if you stick your head in the sand like an ostrich, your butt is sticking out of the sand like an ostrich......

It is up to Lin to fix his weaknesses, not McHale.

Seriously??? NO. Standing Lin in the corner and having your SG and SF "play" PG is NOT developing him.

What a bunch of knee-jerks. One poor game against the top team in the West and you're ready to throw him under the bus. Last game against OKC he had 29 points and we won. Hey the whole team played poorly with the exception of Beverley.

The problem is what I've been saying all year - you can't rely on one man going ISO in the playoffs. Their performance last night is mostly on McHale.

Ultimately it is up to him, but part of a coach's job is to improve your players and help them fix their weaknesses.

Harden's Max contract hasn't even kicked in yet. He get's paid $5.8 million this season. About as much as Jeremy.

    Stick your head in that.

This is incorrect, as the first responsibility for a coach is to win games; your entire analytical framework is thus a complete and total corruption, and any thought you may have is tainted by the fruit of this poisonous tree.

You should refrain from posting in this thread or any others until you have sufficiently contemplated the depth and breadth of this mistake.

I do know that. But he (Harden) is already locked down for the max for the following 5 years. Why not average his the salary out with this year as well and see whether he performed up to it in the first game of the play-offs? After-all, you averaged Jeremy's salary at 8 million in your previous post right? Now you are trying to backtrack by saying that Jeremy is only paid 5 million.

Your head is way in deeper then mine bud.

Agreed...Lin has potential, but he needs a consistent jumper and he needs better handles. I hope he will take his game to the next level, like his bff Chandler, next season.

I think Mchale has done a good job in teaching Lin that in order to get PT, you have to play well, something that he's done in the latter part of the season. As for the confidence part, this isn't high school. Any confidence issues you have are your own personal issues and should have been resolved in your adolescent years.
