Not giving our center halves a break, but we did have our two best out their with Kompany and Nastasic. I have not been too impressed with Nastasic this season, but he is young and should improve. I think we can use a better defensive option at LB as Clichy is more of an offensive weapon at full back like Zabaleta is but I find Zabaleta to be a better offensive weapon so I would like to see the upgrade at defensive fullback made on the left side.

These aren't "bad decisions." These are the actions of a lunatic. He should be banned for the rest of the season and FIFA should take action, too, banning him from international games for a time.

Suarez is a scumbag. He has a history on the pitch.

FIFA will take action but Liverpool needs to take action as well.

I don't think Suarez will be banned longer than the rest of this season. It's stupid what he did, but I think tackling hard with 2 cleats in the air is more dangerous than a bite to the arm.

Now I think Suarez leaving Anfield is getting closer to reality. He'll leave to Juve, away from England... that way he's happy, and the English fans/media are happy, both sides win. Honestly for me, it's unfortunate because watching him play is a real treat.

Also I doubt FIFA will do anything. I think they'll view his punishment from the FA and the club internally (although I heard the max fine is 2 weeks pay) is sufficient.

    Yep, it's true.

He will join Bayern this coming season. I am ecstatic. Had to keep my mouth shut for a bit.

He is a talent of a century and in my opinion, has the potential to be something like "the German Messi" (not quite the goal scorer, of course, and there is only one Messi, but the way he handles the ball - he is more of an assist guy than a goal scorer).

Guardiola as coach, Schweinsteiger (who I think is the best defensive midfielder/quarterback in the world)/Martinez in defensive midfield, Götze in front of them, on the wings Ribery, Müller, and as forward Lewandowski (who will join either this year or next year for free - with backups Mandzukic and Pizarro (this coming season)). As of right now, we still have Kroos and Robben and possibly Gomez (but I think he will leave for sure) as backups. Lahm and Alaba are the best right and left wing defenders in the world. If Badstuber gets healthy and back to his top potential, we have Dante to hold the ground in central defense. That's one area to shore up a bit, possibly.

But really hard to find holes in this roster at this point.

Barca, be prepared: If we don't eliminate you this year - and we will fight hard - then we will come back stronger next year.

Anyway, the story of the day is Goetze joining Bayern. He costs 37 Mio. Euro. I would have paid 80 Mio. Euro, if necessary. If he stays healthy, he will define an era at Bayern.

ATW, is there a mutual agreement between Bayern and Lewandowski?

They probably have because that's what FC Hollywood has been doing for years now: as soon as there is a credible rival, buy all their best players. Big fish in a small pond.

They want more German players and needed a playmaker, Götze was the only logical solution at their high level. Haters will always say they rob their rivals, but they're past that time.

If you need a world class playmaker, prefer a German guy and look at the ridiculously low 37m pricetag, it was a no brainer.

Yes. But I think he might only come in 2014 now. Fine with me.

    Don't feed the troll.

I'm not completely sold on Götze, since he had a lot injury issues in his young career. But I'm glad if that means, that Robben has to disappear.
