Nope I checked IPs, not the same...not even close to the same geographic location. We take multiple accounts seriously here, so don't accuse unless you know for a fact.
It was A problem. Not THE problem. First possession in game 1 and Lin tries to throw a pass to Omer through four defensive players. There was literally 4 defenders surrounding the passing lane he used. Turnover. The next offensive possession is handled by Harden. The next by Parsons. The next by Harden, after Lin and asik's poor attempt at a PNR didn't work, The next by parsons. Then Harden, again. Harden, again. Lin initially, but quickly back to Harden. See a pattern? Lin was a non-factor at the start. Led to a 2-10 deficit. Terrible start. One could say, well then he needs to be involved, but in what way? He wasn't a shooting threat. Wasn't attacking, either because he didn't like what he saw and/or wasn't confident he could do something. His uneasiness/hesitation was obvious and that is felt by his teammates, which is why Parsons and Harden tried to take over for him. Young players lose patience. When your whole team is full of them, the team loses patience as a whole quickly and often. A lot of the offensive rhythm begins at the point. They need Brooks' experience in there at times to steady them. Obviously Brooks is no Battier, but part of why battier's presence often worked so well with new or younger players is that he knew what to do and it made it easier for everything else to fall in place. You need one puzzle piece set first. This team doesn't have that one set piece to get them going or in a flow. Not because of lack of talent or skill, but lack of experience. Harden said they needed the loss because now "they know how to play" and i don't think he was necessarily referring to himself. He's been there. He was talking about the other guys being star struck and not being able to keep up mentally. They need that experience out there. Garcia isn't going to give it to them. Delfino is too past his prime for his body to take on a larger role like that. Brooks is the only option left.
Wait you checked IP's on realgm? I am not talking about he has multiple accounts on CF. I am saying that he has one account named Gil on RealGM Knicks board that he posts on & he was a Knick fan who signed up with the same name (Gil) on clutch fans? If you are saying that it isn't even the same IP then I was mistaken my apologies.
I couldn't care less what anyone does on RealGM...that place is a hellhole the likes of which this place has never even come close to. You accused him of being the same person as the OP of this thread...something that is not true as near as I can tell. It is very common for folks to use their favorite nicknames on multiple forums....it doesnt make them Bi-UID
I screwed up. I thought the OP of this thread was Gil when I responded to deckard. I didn't realize the OP of the thread was TheSource. Never mind then.
I like every word you say. Don't worry Smith is likely be traded or just as a back up when someone better comes in. And I really hate Parsons try to act like a PG and create shots for himself, but that never work!!! And Lin needs to stop hesitate, he hesitates all the freaking time! cuz he usually ended up making bad decisions (he got fouled at least twice but no whistle). Harden needs to work on his defense and run faster!! McHale just like to do his experiments, I don't know how long he can do that until he's really going to be fired. I love them all as a person just saying their performance was not there last night.
A young player playing bad in his first ever playoff game against a great defensive team like OKC is not an embarrassment to the city; losers harboring unwarranted hatred toward a member of their own community is an embarrassment to all of Clutchfans.
Just because someone didn't post in those threads doesn't mean the mob should come trashing this website.
While so many of the "real" Rocket fans are calling for Jeremy's head on a platter, at least his coach has got his back: Thank you, Coach McHale.
As expected, there were rough patches. At times, Rockets coaches said, Lin grew discouraged, overthinking, being afraid to make mistakes. McHale said he encouraged Lin to remain aggressive without becoming reckless, telling him, “It’s not going to be 82 games of living on the ceiling, but you can’t remain in the basement for long.” One of the biggest challenges this season, McHale said, was tempering the public expectations. “They thought it was going to be Linsanity and he’d average 28 and 11,” McHale said, referring to points and assists. “I was like, ‘No, no, no.’ He had never had this responsibility for 82 games. I was really worried the expectation level would get to him. “He still has a lot to figure out, but I was really proud of Jeremy, how he handled the ups and downs.” From: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/22/s...on-improving-his-game.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1&
For the record, Lin will have a another bad game on Wednesday. The reason is simple... Role players in the playoffs do well at home and are non factors on the road. Only the superstars play well both home and away. I suspect Lin will have his first good game in game 3 and it'll be a close game.
chalk it up to nerves. We all can tell when Lin is playing scared. its happened all season VS top teams/players. usually he will be a bit hesitant and **** hits the fan. I dont doubt for one second that he will bounce back next game. Its just how he is. I think he should get a good sports psychologist.
