I don't like Mchale but what kind of r****ded logic are you using by citing the stats of our players?
He will playing in the D-League Championship against the Vipers this coming week. He plays for the Santa Cruz Warriors.
Only bad coaches change lineups based on one game. It's good you are not the coach, McHale knows better than that. And it is his first game, even Harden played very bad the first playoff game he played.
Well that didn't make sense considering Harden was already a proven commodity in the playoffs. He struggled in the finals, but he was coming off a great series against the Spurs. The comparison is very flawed.
I don't know & that was the main reason why I was annoyed by him doing that. It is the same reason why I dont get so mad about hardens decision making in the fourth, he is going to have to learn how to be a closer so let him experience that & screw it up a few times then he will learn. Rockets need to see what they have in Lin, parsons Aisk etc. Morey said it on AMA. He is going to need either one of Asik, Parsons Lin to step up as an all star calibre player. Might as well just give them the playing time & let them learn. But McHale kept Lin in tonight in the post season when he was legitimately awful which I was happy with. Credit to him for doing that today.
where were you all haters when lin and harden had that fantastic game win against okc? so lin had this horrible horrible first career playoff game and y'all bashing on him? harden had a horrible stretch last year in the finals and was he a scrub? no! he became better and he's a top 5 player this year. gtfo haters.
The biggest thing to me is Beverley cost 2 million for 3 years and Lin cost 25 million for 3 years. We need better second and third options on this team, and I can see Morey making cuts this off season if any opportunities arise.
How was he far better? He had 11 points on 10 shots & was even worse at guarding Russ than Lin. Beverly was slightly better but Lin was terrible, that really isn't saying much. Also OKC wasn't defending Beverly as aggressively as they were Lin. Beverly was good in the sense that he wasn't all deer in headlights though which I was impressed by. I think he was the only player out there on the court that handled the spotlight well.
Whatever that's bs. Lin has a bad game, big deal, a lot of people had bad games tonight. He has gotten better every month this season and he will be fine, $8 million a year is about the right price for a pg with his ability's.
Lol I love how people on clutchfan expect the rockets to beat the thunder. For the rockets to even be in the playoffs is already amazing. Yes, Lin has his flaws. So does harden and every other player in the league. Lin has one bad game and everyone jumps ship on him. LOL. I laugh at people's idiocy and bandwagon-ness.
ummmm I don't think anyone said that this team is complete.... Morey always makes moves in the off season... it is as predictable as the sun rise...
