Ouch. Well, glad that game's over. It's doubtful that we could play much worse.

smith was an absolute abomination tonight. Did nothing on both ends of the court. Well Omer didn't do much either.

I'm secretly hoping for a 4-0 loss so Mchale gets fired.

That might actually work. We will suffer defensively, buy it is not as if Smith a good job defending or rebounding. Your idea would definitely throw a curve ball into the Thunder system.

Seriously. The whole "let them play for defense and my personal job security" angle is over. That's the regular season. Doing the same thing in the playoffs was how JVG and Adelman got ****canned.

Let the new guys run and have a real taste of the playoffs.

Bottom line McHale is NOT going to get fired. Not after this season. It's unfortunately going to take a season where we DON'T reach our expectations to fire him, he exceeded them this season. Plus Morey is not going to fire somebody who just lost his own daughter. That's just cruel.

that stadium in OKC was terrific. their fans were great, and hopefully one day Toyota Center can become a stadium where their are no seats empty at tip-off

I will wait until the post season ends. i could careless if we get swept. If McHale makes the necessary adjustments I will be happy irregardless of us getting swept.

All I know is Lin better score 30+ pts in game 2 to make up for this disgusting performance.

bringing in McHale as our head coach seemed like a move to become more relevant in the NBA, he obviously wasn't brought in for his coaching skills

you can't expect that kind of production from a person who struggled to get 4 points

Certainly not in the first few months when Harden was shooting in a mid 40s percentage. I had the feeling that everyone liked him.

But recently, possibly because of injuries, sort of rookie wall, run down by McHale, bad coaching, no D, hero ball or whatever, he has disappointed.

Fans usually don't hate a player if he sucks but tries and play a team game; but when a good player go downhill by shooting a low percentage and keeps shooting and put in a sub-par effort, it's easy to get mad.

I don't think fans hate him anyways, if you want to be the hero you have to shoulder more blames, just the way it is.

He's been averaging 13.3 pts the entire season. I'm sure he can come up with more than 4. This was a chokejob at its finest.

Yes what the Rockets need is to start even more young guys who will be shook in the playoff atmosphere. Robinson, Greg, D-mo, Jones aren't going to cut it. And LOL at people saying Thomas played big in Kansas during big moments. College is nothing like the post season. Parsons played big in big moments in the regular season & look at him last night. Lin played big moments in NY look how he played? Harden played big moments in the western playoffs but look how poor he was in the finals against Miami. Honestly even Patterson would probably be shook right now.

Start Lin Harden Parsons Delfino Omer & have Beverly off the bench & have them play the most minutes. A few minutes here & there for Greg. Rockets can't defend this OKC team, if they want to win a game have to just kill them with offense.

he needs to play better but it was his post playoff game cut him some slack. parsons needs to play better as well & considering that Chandler isn't defended as aggressively as Lin or Harden & all of his baskets are assisted by Lin or Harden, Parsons definitely eneds to produce a lot more than 9 points on 11 shots, 0 assits 1 TO.
