He was an even mediocre pg when he's in NYC, just happened to be in the right place and right time.

Lin probably won't show up until the 3rd game. I have him being exploited in the second game also. Due to the pace, he will not be able to keep up. I think he will need the crowd behind him to make a difference. I hope I'm wrong.

I still stand by my statement that he will pwn Westbrook next time they meet in the playoffs.

Westbrook is just too fast, too strong, and too athletic for Lin.

Not just Lin everybody. Nobody can guard Westbrook.

Yup, the only person that can stop him is himself.

so... westbrook versus rose.. with WB looking like he is now and Rose laggin behind, does anyone else think WB has overcame Rose in terms athleticism and explosiveness?

Also, with WB being the physical monster that he is, it can only take a savant like PG to stop him, aka., CP3....

No, he can be stopped by good team D and himself (when he stucks chucking). He wont be stopped 1-on-1.

Lin shouldn't be mentioned with westbrook because westbrook is on top while lin is struggling to find his way to become an average point guard

Healthy rose is better than Westbrook in my opinion. But good lord Westbrook is a totally different animal.

True that, but let's look at the big picture here; good team d can only do so much against the two 2 scorers in the entire league. If it isn't WB, who IMO has surpassed Rose til further notice, then it is Kevin Durant, who today is only second only to LBJ. THIS OKC team is the only thing stopping Miami; the Rockets are playing a championship team here.

    However, with that being said,

    NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER!!!!

A healthy Rose was considered to be more important than Lebron; the key here is WAS.

DRose is great, it's just Westbrook might be greater as of today.

With that being said, I should add that Westbrook could be so much greater if he just had higher basketball IQ...

Lin not being able to stop Westbrook is not the problem. Lin scoring 4 pts is a problem.

Well obviously right now Westbrook is better, Rose isn't healthy at all. But when Rose comes back & is at 100% I think he will show that he is better than Russ. A healthy Rose was almost as good as CP3 that year.

I cannot debate this as Rose has not come back yet. Also, I cannot debate this because this is another debate between will and logic, choice v.s. fate. I cannot deny Rose's will and work ethic, just as I cannot deny the improvements of WB and the recovering DRose.
