lin is a garbage time player.. games out of hand, throw him out there, babuse some scrubs, put up 20 points in meaningles minutes.. make a specific fanbase happy..
I agree, let him play garbage time so we can continue to get the ad dollars from Maxxis tires and these other advertisers. With the money we can try to sign some actual players.
Did everyone just forget the more than decent season he just had. He was obviously nervous this game, had little confidence, and made poor decisions because of it. It also didnt help that his shot was terrible. But give this guy a break, he wasnt the only one who played badly. Everyone had a poor game. Bev played great in the first half, but he kinda disappeared in the 2nd half too. Just calm down. It wasnt like this team was gona beat OKC
That was a really dumb pass but it was his first playoff game lets cut these young guys some slack. People are way to critical.
Harden was 6-19, 1-6 from 3. Chandler was 4-11. If there is a god, mchale will be fired at the end of the season.
No he shouldn't start Beverly. Lin needs to learn from this. I am happy that McHale still played him despite his atrocious start. Rockets need to see what they have in him going into next season.
Exactly, this was his first playoff game and he was nervous, plus we played a great team that has been beating everybody all year long. Should we just get rid of Beverley because he came in the game and threw the ball into the stands and couldn't stay in front of Westbrook? Hell no, this is all good experience for this team and they have a bright future.
Wow I think this is the biggest knee-jerk reaction I've seen on this board yet...after one, admittedly terrible game, where the whole team played badly, against the possible champions who couldn't miss, you want to change the starting line-up? i am not defending lin's bad game here, but it's just one loss man
What I don't get is if McHale planned on starting lin all along in the playoffs why did he yank him in all those close 4th quarters late in the season? If he's ur starting man u want to expose him to pressure early and get him comfortable. If u can't handle regular season pressure u got no business in the playoffs.
