Lin just doesn't fit in the team scheme

If we compete in at least a couple of games, I agree. If we get three more games like this? I'm not so sure...

    SRSLY.

Yup.. Things can only get better from here. OKC was supposed to win this game. We should play a lot better next game now that we got this one out of the way.

It's actually a ball handling issue. I love all the racial stereotypes thrown at Lin and, previously, Yao. If a white guy passes it around he is a team player. If an Asian guy does it he's passive and weak.
There's nothing about Lin that stinks of weakness to me. He has serious issues with ball handling right now. When he is played one on one he destroys most nba players. That's why they double him in a way they don't double anyone else. Beverley, harden, and Parsons don't get doubled like Lin. Cause lin is more dangerous on penetration AND he's weak to pressure. Harden obviously more dangerous overall but doubling him off the pick isn't as effective.

Agree, its quite sad, but Clutch can't ban all of the LOHs and rabid LOFs.

I kind of wish our team wasn't flying back in between games. When your on the road, the only thing you have is your teammates. I think they need that to grow together.

Asik and Lin were both complete trash.

Smith was a disgrace and Harden mailed it in after they started to open up a lead lmao.

there is no such thing as reality checks. we live in this new age where no one has patience. we want everything right now!! the players, the fans but it's going to take more then one season to reach the summit.

true that...if Westbrook crossed up Lin instead of Bev this board would've erupted. Now these fools want to see more of aaron brooks cause he scored on deandre liggins twice?

They got it through their head...Bev can help put you over the top but he can't be a game changer. He had a good game and they still got killed. They need both Lin and Harden to have great games to even in it.

Anyway everyone should've expected this. First game OKC was not going to fool around. Rockets will get blown out at least twice in this series, if they can take 1 game and almost win another, that would be an accomplishment and you end the year with your head held high.

Houston played terrible tonight. Horrible horrible. Lin looked confused, had zero aggression. Needs to look to score to get some confidence next time around. The whole team needs to step up next game. They seriously just looked like new kids on the block and were jittery most of the game. Better go home and get ready for the next game.

Reality check is this series was over before it started. I was so bummed they dropped down to 8th and had to play OKC that I wasn't even looking forward to the Rox being in the playoffs for the first time in years. Worse possible match-up they could have gotten. Playoff experience is good but getting ass raped like this is embarrassing.

He fits the team scheme of the Shanghai Sharks.

this is why rox need to bring in a bigtime shotblocker and post player. plus okc learned a thing or two from miami with respect to shut down defense. few teams can achieve it, but okc and miami have the personnel to do it right. rox will bounce back next game.
