I don't know but I'm guessing the premise is acknowledging that those events will forever shape what people think. To think that people would think differently after that is a stretch. Concerning recent events I guess it does have a point. We do have a problem with angry, depressed, white males in this country. One of them even took out 23 kids in an elementary school with an AR. 9/11 perps weren't americans though, that is why we took the war to afghanistan. If thats what you really believe happened I don't even know what to tell you. It was more political and economical than anything. Hell there are more verses taken out of context from the bible as a way of encouraging slavery than anything. I actually had to write a paper on it and was astounded. lol @ Kat, and almost all of them. Did I ever mention the large scale killing of the native americans that took place due to white christian males? Repeatedly kicking them off settlements because they wouldn't conform to right values and were too savage...ultimately ending in the trail of tears that resulted in countless dead..... True, aztecs were barbaric but when you go there under the guise of a guest and end up killing and entire race of people...I think I know who is worse in this scenario. Almost every single european traveler did their best to j*zz in blankets and pass it around before giving it to the natives so they would contract small pox and other diseases. The numbers of those that died because of that are monumental.
I've been traveling and haven't been able to follow the news so much but has it been determined why these guys picked the Marathon as a target? Also what they were doing at MIT when they shot the cop? It seems to me that if they were picking an anti-American target in Boston there are other targets that would have a much greater symbolic impact such as the USS Constitution. As shown by all the flags flying the Marathon was an international event so was this a matter of them just picking an event with the largest crowd?
It wasn't just Aztecs who practiced human sacrifices by the masses... And the practice of mass human sacrifices far exceeds any thing done by European settlers in America. Not saying the treatment towards Indians in America was right by any means. But lets not distort history here, sir. We get it, you hate white people.
Earlier reports said that the bombs were fairly simple and that information about how to make them were fairly wide spread. I am not an expert on bomb making but I think a lot more needs to be known before determining that these guys couldn't have figured out how to make these bombs themselves.
