Anyone check out the end of the Denver - GS game? Tie game and what does George Karl do? Runs a damn iso for his best one on one player. What a ****ty coach!
That's why we got Harden is overrated thread. Also, the three seconds left pass is evil. The teammate can made the shot, Harden gets an assist. If the teammate cannot made the shot, there's no bad effect with his stats.
Lord Jesus, forgive Harden for he has committed a deadly sin of passing with 3 seconds left. Forgive his evil crime against humanity. Pray for Harden everyone, the gates of Heaven do not accept people who pass with 3 seconds left on the clock.
Well, his teammates obviously didn't appreciate those passes. You've seen those "WTF" stares from Chandler and Delfino.
the problem is what he does with iso half the time. Step back and contested 3s with people who are smaller and weaker than him guarding him! unacceptable!! Look at what Andre Miller did to Draymond Green last night, if that was HArden he'd still be at the 3 pt line with seconds left and put up a tough jumper.
heh??what are you smoking?? andre iguodola is their best 1-1 player. George Karl went with the hot hand! THat's like letting Parsons/Lin iso cause they're having a great night instead of Harden. McHale would never do that.
Andre Iguodola is certainly not their best 1 on 1 player. Actually, aside from Ty Lawson, they don't have many good 1 on 1 players. He ran an iso for the hot hand, true.
Oh, sorry, you were replying to a message I had blocked. I did think you were talking about the player that took the shot. My apologies.
I don't think anyone is arguing against Harden ISO at the end of quarters in order to optimize clock management. ISOs are a great tool for making sure you get the final shot, or a 2 for 1. However, using the ISO for the last 3-5 minutes of any quarter is poor strategy.
I can agree that Houston goes iso too early at times. That being said, in end of game situations the Rockets(just like he rest of the league) should continue to iso Harden. He's our best player, our best one on one player and our best chance to score.
