I cannot wait for tomorrow. 1st playoff game for our Rockets in a long time. If the Rockets play the way there capable of they could win.

Just from this video you can already see the looming dark clouds that are Durant and Westbrook moving towards Lin and Parsons. Look at how athletic they are, how long, how fast, and how skilled...

Its like the Monstars vs. the Looney Toons. Let's just hope Harden can be the Jordan that saves the Rockets....

    Probly not tho..

Tell Mchale and his iso's to F off Harden run the fast break to a T and get your teammates involved. Secondly, concentrate on defense Mr. Beard and bring some confidence Lin then the rest will follow. Maybe we'll blow these boys off their own floor... were very capable of it. Everything and everyone has to click... le go!

3 Things to look for tomorrow

    1) Will Harden step up and finally play some tough nosed D?
    2) Will our team be prepared to take physical "playoff style" fouls, and dish them out as well?
    3) Will Lin ditch his passivity and start playing super aggressively by driving relentlessly against Westbrook, a PG with low defensive awareness?

If all 3 turn out to be yes, then we can steal a few games and impress the NBA world...

Just putting it out there, I wouldn't be shocked to see Houston upset OKC. It's one of those situations where the underdog team is better at playing the way the favorites like to play than the favorites themselves. If the games are up and down and teams are scoring 110+ I think it favors Houston and OKC can easily be sucked into that type of game.

No hope for the first game since we are coming with a long break and this team played worse, coming from long breaks this season. We might be able to steal the second game and if we do, we will either pass this round or McHale is going to lose it for us (McHale coaches better when it is not a critical game IMO)

After a 3 year playoff drought, Stern makes sure the Rockets play last out of every playoff team.

    Save the best
    ass whipping
    for last.

All the pressure is on the Thunder and none on us (except maybe Harden), so hopefully they will overthink during the game and commit mistakes, which we can capitalize on.

Can not wait. Just a few things I am hoping for.

    1. No doubling on their bigs, not even off Thabo, he got his career high against us last time
    2. Staggering Harden and Lin's minutes, really have no idea why we don't do this anymore
    3. Smith to stay out of foul trouble and Jones to be a force off the bench
    4. Asik to go crazy, without this we have literally no chance
    5. Parons, Delfino etc. to shoot well from the arc
    6. About Harden, at this point in the season, I think we all know what we're going to get, let's just hope McHale can rein it in a little

Win or lose, I have never seen a team rebuild so quickly

    Go Rockets!

I would like to see more Beverly Lin on the floor together putting Beverly on Westbrook.

Defensively I don't think we match up too badly vs the Thunder, except that the coach insists on leaving Sefolosha open and hoping he misses 3s. I'm not sure how large the upside even is for that strategy since Durant is the crux of OKC's offense and he's an efficient machine that can't be stopped anyway.

The other problem for us is Ibaka getting tons of blocked shots a game on Harden and Lin. It would be great if Smith/Asik can establish themselves in the post.

It will be nice to see Jones playing well in the post too.
