My take on the Knicks was illustrated perfectly by the 1st quarter: They are too dependent on Melo taking and hitting a huge number of shots. They blew the lead as soon as he went cold. 5-11 for 13 points in the 1st quarter and still trail by 3. Not a good sign at all. The problem is I'm not sure the Celts have enough to win 4 games from the Knicks in a series. If they can bring 48 minutes of energy each time, Celts have a good chance to advance. I don't think they can.
Jeff Green has been impressive on both offense and defense. Now if Jason Terry can get out of his huge slump and actually show signs of his old self, then the Celtics would be my favorites to meet the Heat in the Conference Finals.
also, bench points, 20-knicks to 2-celtics. JET has been terrible all season long. Lee and Crawford also need to step up. Sullinger was a pretty big loss for them as well.
