I heard somewhere that the cops checked that boat before, and he wasnt there, but I dont know how they didnt see him, then after a while he went to hide in the boat.

I dont think he would need another car. He was only one block out of their perimeter. They said they found blood behind a house, so he probably hid there for a while and then left, ending up at the boat

I'm all for preserving this kid's right to trial, but immediately after this short trial, he deserves a slow painful death. McVeigh should have gotten worse.

Even if he is innocent in the bombing, which I seriously doubt, he still somehow ended up covered in blood before engaging with officers (this is how he was discovered), and actually engaged in a firefight with officers, something that is technically not legal.

And I don't disagree with you. But for those calling for torture and worse it is important to remember that innocent till proven guilty is one of the basic rights we all have regardless of how we feel. The racist/discriminatory tones taken by atw, bigtex and others are just a small sample of what many Americans believe and while most users here recognize them for what they are (a joke) it's still vital in certain instances to call them out.

Does this kid deserve death for what he did? Probably so. But nobody should rush to condemn death or worse on anybody without fully knowing all facts. And honestly, if you believe the US media 100% at this point, you almost deserve being lied to.

 

During the press conference they said the boat's location was about a block outside of their perimeter. It wasn't searched previously.
