Rockets are about to go on a 16 game winning streak the experts are just not aware of it yet.

    The key will be defense.

    This what gon go down.

Game 1: Dig ourselves in a hole in the first quarter, make a valiant effort to come back but no good.

    OKC 1-0

Game 2: Lose in a tightly contested game, with Durant playing late-game hero and drives the dagger into our hearts with a J.

    OKC 2-0

Game 3: Down in the beginning of the 4th, but Harden and Lin take over down the stretch and lead us to victory.

    OKC 2-1

Game 4: OKC comes out sluggish, we don't. Catch on fire from 3 and actually manage to blow them out.

    Tied 2-2

Game 5: OKC gets revenge. Totally stomps us. Embarrassing

    OKC 3-2

Game 6: Rockets up by one due to a clutch Harden 3. It comes down to a last second heave by Westbrook. It misses, but Ibaka gets the rebound and tips it in due to being guarded by Carlos "Small Ball" Delfino.

    OKC wins 4-2

    Hrm....seems familiar.

Not bad, but I we will get blown out earlier though, and win probably only 1 game. OKC will snuff out Harden.

If it was the Spurs, I'd say Spurs in 7.

However, it's the Thunder. So I say Thunder in 5.

Greg Smith is the best defender to put on Collison. They will start Perkins on Asik. Asik can score on Perkins because he is bigger and can get inside position for feeds and dunks. Start Jones against Ibaka. That will get Ibaka out to the perimeter so he can't block shots. Ibaka also likes to shoot outside so Jones can do a better job I think playing defense against that than Smith. When Collison comes in, then bring in Smith.

They split the first two games in OKC, split the next two in Houston, and then the Rox win 2 in a row to win the series in 6.

Common, most of you are a bunch of pessimists. I hope it is because most did not think this young team would make the playoffs and they proved you wrong.

If you think they are going to sweep, why will you watch?

Me too - can't understand how this isn't obvious to everyone.

I think mchale's first mistake though was doubling on DH which really opened the floor for Blake and prevented us from really establishing any flow and kept them in thee game until they took over in the 4th.

    Just terrible coaching from tipoff......:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Kind of an annoying poll in ESPN:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2013/matchup/_/teams/thunder-rockets

They have only 5 options for who wins:
    Thunder in 4
    Thunder in 5
    Thunder in 6
    Thunder in 7
    Rockets

I realize we have very little chance of winning. But at the least I think there is a higher chance of us winning that series, than the chance of being swept by OKC....

Rockets win their next 98 games, drop game 1 in the 2014 playoffs to the Timberwolves on a Chase Budinger buzzer beater 3 over Josh Smith after Dwight doesn't get back in transition. Morey is fired for trading Budinger.

I have a bad feeling about this series, how ironic that last year's team actually had a better chance than this year's team. Ow well, as long as we win one game at home and keep games competitive I am okay with how the season turned it. A sweep will be very disappointing but I expect game 1 & 2 to be complete blowouts, game 3 to be close and hopefully game 4 they will come out blasting and defend their honour. I however think it will be a clean sweep.

Why are we pessimists when the Rockets are a gigantic long shot to win the series?

Making it to the playoffs was the goal for this young team so they can get experience for the following seasons. I'll watch because I'm a fan and am cheering for the upset, but I highly doubt it will happen.
