    They are just mainly looking to make sure the defendant's rights are protected. There isn't much of a defense here.

    Everyone won't hate his lawyer. It is very important that he gets competent representation. I cannot believe they have not given him his Miranda rights. What the hell has this country become since 911...

    I think they're more concerned about preventing more people from dying than they are reading him his rights. If he was not an immediate threat to the public safety, go ahead and read him his rights. Until he isn't a threat, f*** that and focus on neutralizing the threat.

    if there was another bombing set to take place and we could keep him alive to find out and save those involved wouldn't that be a positive take? Thats the whole reason for taking him in alive. Its kind of like being his doctor. As a doctor you have to save whoever is put in front of you, regardless of what they have done.

    This kind of situation means you have a suspect that could have wired explosives all over the place. The public is very much in danger. This is an extremely rare case and as such this is an extremely rare exception that I am perfectly fine with.
