I was thinking that too, but figured a dog would have sniffed him out anyway.

However, they said the search was limited to homes. I'm not sure if they were implying garages/cars/etc went unsearched or just not businesses? I guess he could have crept up inside a garage and passed out.

holy crap, same voice. I didn't even notice. Probably because I was looking forward to Mumbles Menino. Love that guy almost as much as he loves Hondo.

FWIW, they said it's not a 7-11. They just used the term to describe a gas station + store.

Others here have said the one robbed wasn't the one where the brothers were recorded. So, the coincidence was it was a gas station too, but not same one ( i think).

No, not always. depending on where shot, the blood would be soaked in the clothes and a few drips here and there... unless it was a high impact round, you won't always have a trail.

Plus maybe he wrapped the wound before fleeing

They better catch him before 3:00PM EST tomorrow. I want to watch the BOS-NYC NBA playoff game and not get my program interrupted like O.J. did:mad:

    Epic lede:

WATERTOWN — The desperate 19-year-old suspect in the Boston Marathon terror bombings ran over his own wounded brother as he fled police, officials said. Considered armed and dangerous and possibly wearing a suicide vest, he remains on the loose, sought by legions of heavily armed officers as nearly a million residents of Boston were advised to hunker down behind locked doors, in an unprecedented security measure.

That's what I thought too, but by now you'd think the stolen car would have been reported. It would be a really small area of town, so I think it would be fairly easy to follow up on any stolen vehicle reports that may have occurred last night. That's what I remember happening with Dorner. You'd have no idea where he was for a while, then a report would come in about someone's car getting jacked.

Unless he took and/or killed the driver. Which he has done already.

Pretty good article with background on both the brothers:

    http://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/20...-immigrants/OBTQATfZa9UhMISGpgP3eN/story.html

    This one:

    http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/dzokhar-tsarnaev-had-ordinary-school-day-wednesday

Also mentions that the younger one went about a normal day on Wednesday, doing stuff on campus and going to a party in the evening. People generally say the older one was a generally a bit off, but this younger one is so odd - it seems like everyone who knows him thinks he's a totally normal and happy kid except for these past few days.

    These guys make no sense.

They plot to set these bombs off and kill loads of people at the marathon, but let the guy they hijacked go? What did they like him and become buddy buddies? So they let this guy go and boom the guy calls the police and they find themselves in total mayhem.

And for being able to plot this attack, how on earth did they think they could hang out and not worry about being identified when the news reports all indicated the FBI was making significant progress?

It's kinda scary that people this dumb could pull of the attack that they did.

This kid managed to get away with 6 stars. Something tells me a lot of cops kept their distance or took their time to get their. I would too, no paycheck is worth getting blown up.

Where would they have fled to, Mexico? Then what? I doubt they would have been able to fly back to Europe once they became suspects number 1 and 2. Even if they managed to get to Europe they'd get busted once they landed.
