How is that they were holed up in a SUV being surrounded and shot at by cops/FBI, the brother is made into swiss cheese during the fire-fight... and yet, the other somehow gets out through all of that and runs away and through a ton of FBI and cops, etc to disappear? He must be a ninja or something,

 

A 19 year old running around the streets of Boston being chased by 15,000 police personnel still hasn't been captured. Oh yeah, real conceivable. The aunt is now saying they were set up.

Something fishy is definitely going on.

 

I agree, as if the family isn't already terribly distraught enough, this whole fiasco landed on them.

 

Don't know if it has been pointed out yet, but #2 went to the same high school as Patrick Ewing.

 

So who the heck are these guys? Coincident they are standing right next to the bomb site? Are these the two other suspects that stood around and watch when the bomb went off from the CNN sources that CLUTCH posted?

It feels like if they haven't caught by this time, he's already made it outside the radius of suspicion. Hopefully that's not the case.

I have a hard time buying the set up angle at this time.

This whole thing makes no sense. No threats. No demands. No manifesto. And then they go rob a 7/11. If you are the two most wanted people in the US wouldn't you try to go hide or if you just want to kill people why not go shoot up some people, instead they go and rob a convenience store.

 

I am sure the suspect is sweating bullets.

Fortunately most of the finger pointing was overnight, and the real bombers were revealed while everyone was starting to wake for the next day.

My guess is this:

There's 2 reasons they didn't hide or flee Boston. They thought they could get away with it. And if they suddenly disappeared their own family would suspect something.

But by last night they knew the heat was on. So either they were really brash and thought they could pull of the robbery, carjacking, and get out of town. Or it was simply out of panic. Or they really did want to go out in a blaze of glory. But the younger brother chickened out and fled when it wall finally went down.

 

I've been in and out of class today. What happened to the woman hostage who texted her mom?

 

I wish the family would put the Facebook page back up and that Huffington posts a link to the page. I looked for the page this morning and could not find it.

Hopefully, someone will see it and have information on where their missing son is.
