Who are these people, and why should we believe them?

 

They are just tweeting the police scanner, I am listening to it and those tweets are accurate.

 

Been watchng the coverage on NBC (the only channel to get thru out here) and the girl keeps asking people she is interviewing for their impressions.

I wonder if I'm the only person wishing the interviewee would respond with "I'm sorry, I don't do impressions"

I have been scouring twitter for people posting real info from scanner.

These are people that have been doing it all night and morning.

No you haven't. That was two Moroccan gentlemen that the web falsely accused. These two have never been dismissed as suspects after their information came out. Videos are out there of them at the Marathon and the FBI says they have video of them actually dropping the bombs off.

 

I guess I'm surprised we don't have anyone more credible following the scanner activity than just some random joe blows.

Indeed.... and on Limbaugh they are acting as if this was terrorism by Muslim extremists... no consideration of it being anything else.

Also, conservative radio is having "experts" on discussing how this is clearly Muslim extremists.

Liberal radio isnt even discussing it, as if it never happened.......

 

The police specifically asked people to STOP posting the scanner reports on twitter. The media has complied.

 

Good point. Might be time to get a little more secure communications method for crisis situations like this.

There are reports on blogs coming out that these guys were funded by Al-Qaeda groups in Saudi Arabia.

 

People could just realize that posting the scanner information is putting people's lives in jeopardy and do what the police are asking?
