    CNN saying they're arresting someone who is NOT the suspect.

    Maybe he was out walking where he wasn't supposed to be, reporter says.

    Agree with Major about our chances of finding motive at this particular time. Maybe speculation would best be in D&D.

    basso actually makes an interesting point about suspect #1's namesake, but I'm going to post about that in D&D thread.

    I have a ****ed up nephew that I haven't spoken with in years, but I know everything about him because of what I hear from other family members.

    Not that unrealistic to think the Uncle may know enough about him to make that determination.

    Some people are actually trying to be reasonable and not just spew their biases everywhere. Yeah, it may be an exercise in futility mostly, but who cares.

    Blame the news outlets who published those photos with misleading headlines. Blaming "the internet" is kind of stupid. The tips generated and information generated by the crowd sourcing of the investigation probably helped quite a bit. It's not "the internets" (or 4chan and reddit, basically) fault that the NY Post is full of dumbasses.

    Apparently not since he said that they have nothing to do with Chechnya or the Muslim religion and the older one has been confirmed to both be "very religious" and concerned about Chechen independence.
