[NEWS] Explosions near Boston Marathon Finish Line (UPDATE: MIT/Watertown shootout w/ suspects)

Survived one explosion and was in the proximity of another.

 

Beings losers provoked them to do this said the uncle.. Say it had nothing to do with chechnya or whatever.

 

Watching the uncle speak now. I feel so bad for him. Swarmed by the media. Seems so pissed off about it. Clearly estranged from them/their immediate family.

 

It's weird, though, because he says he hasn't had any contact with them since 2006. How would he know about their exact motives? How can he say for sure that their motive had nothing to do with Chechnya and/or Islam?

And it doesn't exactly seem like they were complete losers - they were in college, etc.

 

Who cares if it is folks taking photos? I mean that is interesting stuff. They are taking the risk themselves.

Not emotional, just dont understand the connection...maybe they are close on the map, but so are Mexico and Texas. You just kept making the point that you were the closest, but not sure about the purpose behind those posts since we're only talking geography here.

I don't think they were losers by any stretch. The older brother was a boxer in addition to an engineer, and the younger #2 seems to have been well liked.

The uncle is going off. Sounds like he did not like his nephews, especially the older one. Said he thinks they were losers who hated everyone and were not able to assimilate to American life. This is starting to sound more like a case of some kids who were social outcasts and came to resent this country (for a variety of reasons) and decided to turn violent and end it all.
