Maybe the dad needs to look at the fact that he talked to them after the bombing, they told him they were not at the marathon and that they do not attend such events.

And yet, there are multiple photos out there of them at the race. I think the dad needs to open his eyes and see that his sons lied to him and are not the angels he perceives them to be.
