I was never a big Lowry fan, but he is a far superior player to Jeremy Lin.

Although stats suggest otherwise. Do you have any prove other than your "reliable" eye test?

toronto raptors is not a good team even when Lowery is your third or fourth best player.

Stats suggest they are pretty close , you are saying lowry is far superior.

Lowry > Lin It's not even close for me. Lowry was was a bulldog on defense. Lowry/Harden or Dragic/Harden > Lin/Harden.

But if you look at the thread, half of it was on Harden.

I agree with what you're basically saying but this thread is completely unnecessary and should be merged or deleted.

Look at how Lowry is struggling with ball dominating teammates in Toronto. Look at Dragic's 3FG%. I just can't agree at all. Lin is the better 3pt shooter, yes, hard to believe right? Stats not agreeing with your eye test? That is because you are biased.

And how am I biased when I prefer Lin's personality over them all??? Dragic shooting threes was never in his arsenal but he makes up for it in other facets of his game. And I don't care what Lowry is doing in Toronto. He would fit nicely with Harden.

You have to watch the games and look at the three point shots that Dragic and Lin are getting. Lin is shooting wide open threes while Dragic is much more off the dribble and/or contested. That is not going to show up on the stats and that is where the eye test is needed. You sound biased.

Yep and the guy at the end of the bench was 20 and 5 and couldn't get paid? The guy in phoenix had a pretty god stretch too right? You can twist it anyway u want, but Lin signing was motivated by false excitement during a total rebuild. Once they got harden, the signing didn't seem so bad because harden was the star and lin in the 4th most impactful starter out of the 5. Yeah, I said it.

And you couldn't be more wrong. AB was unlucky, he couldnt get paid because after his injury, he was never the same player. The guy in phoenix got paid 4 years 32 mil and he sucked this season. The Lin signing was a gamble based on Lin's potential and off the court impact you can spin it however you want but it doesnt change the fact that Lin has the second highest PER among 5 starters and is 3rd in AWS.

Yes you said it and you are wrong.

AS numbers? Aaron Brooks had better numbers for an entire year, don't understand why people prod Lowry up so high.

Defense, some people want the whole package. Also Brooks was not much of a pure pg which YOF hated for obvious reasons.

Lin shoots better off the dribble than off the catch, although he has clearly worked hard at shooting better off the catch. His 3-point percentage would be higher if he had the ball more in his hands. He gets some open looks off the catch, but he is also sometimes given the ball late in the clock where he has to chuck up a prayer.

    I'd take Lin over Dragic.

I'd still take a healthy/motivated Lowry over both of 'em.
